Okay I very rarely leave reviews unless I absolutely love something or I truly despise it and it belongs in hell. I bought this to test out after trying several powders including but not limited to Huda, Laura Mercier, Estée Lauder, bare minerals, etc. while they look good, they do not last on my skin. I have combination skin, but throughout the day it’s like my makeup literally slips off of my nose (gross I know), it cracks and separates on my chin, and I’ll have dry patches under my eyes. This is with considering pairing water based products with water based products or silicones w silicones AND good skincare prep. No matter what I did, it wouldn’t work. I even completely ditched cream based products because I was convinced I could not wear them. Long story short, I bought this tiny thing of powder and tried it not expecting much and I have been wearing it consistently for two weeks with no issues. My makeup does not crack or separate, I do still have some issues with dry patches which is most likely on me and my skin but this powder lasts literally 8 hours or more for me. I can set my whole face without worrying. Transfer is inevitable for any makeup product but I do feel like it minimizes transfer quite a bit, it definitely helps with the makeup on my nose and it’s extremely mattifying. Overall I had to leave this review because after 15 years of trying to find products that work for me (and not having much luck) I was so taken aback when this tiny pot of ambiguous translucent powder that I purchased absent mindedly for $12 did the damn thing.

This is a very good loose powder and does a great job. However, I don't understand the pricing of this item. Don't get me wrong I'm aware of marketing and making of the product pricing will increase because of supply and demand. But pricing gouging is ridiculous 🙄 2 years ago I paid something like $18 bucks on the product, fast forward to today & its over $30 bucks almost doubling in price! Now that's just ridiculous 🙄 if the price decrease back I'd reconsider & give the product 5 stars

I have been reading about this banana powder and finally settled on the Dermablend. I struggle with combination/oily skin, and no powder seemed to last the day, until this! Perfect powder that locks my makeup in place all day AND filters shine even in humid conditions! The ultra-fine, weightless texture gives a soft matte finish without caking! Perfect if you’re looking for clean, effective wear that will take you through the day!

When I tell you I've tried near EVERY product on the market.. I've LITERALLY tried near every product on the market for skin with my insane combo skin. I am oily in my T zone and chin. Dry on my cheeks and upper forehead and have Rosacea that is completely out of control. My skin even THINKS that I'm going to use certain products on it.. It just goes on ahead and breaks all the way out. 🤦‍♀️ And tbh, I'm so sick of everyone asking why am I "sunburned" .. I absolutely will NOT tolerate anything heavy on my skin. I do NOT care for that powdered face look.. I'm picky 🤷‍♀️ Anyway.. I've used Dermablend liquid to cover Psoriasis scars over my body many times. (I live in the Sunshine State. We're water/beach people.) I can dab a bit on the scars and hit the beach or throw on a dress and never have to worry about my scars.. its waterproof and covers like magic.. Works AMAZINGLY well! Gives me back my confidence. So I figured if the liquid is THAT good, I'd give this a shot for my face.. I'm so thankful I did. No more odd oily zones.. No drying of the already dry.. No powdered look.. And NO REDNESS!!! I haven't been asked about my "sunburn" since I've been using it.. And last but certainly not least.. My skin is CLEAR! No allergy bumps. No clogged pores. I'm in love and will be using this as long as they keep making it. Excellent product. And a HUGE thank you for giving me this freedom back. I truly appreciate this product.

Its a nice light powder but the design is a bit flawed in that all the powder comes to the top instead of just a small amount, be careful if you tip it expecting just a little to come out. Its okay, I found it to be a bit yellowish on my skin, but other skin shades might love it. Not for me I'm afraid.
