Any difference in results for African American women versus Caucasian women?

I can not speak for all. Just my experience as a black woman going through the changes of life including thinning hair. Most noticeagle on top and my edges . No perm. No press. Simple cornrows after wash and conditioning every 3 weeks with aveda invariably line. My hairdresser noticed the difference after 2 monthsMy roots were thicker. 4 months later she said my hair was coming back. I am now 7 months in and can see the difference is my hair thickness and body. Not sure I can testify to length, bot not loosing or thinning anymore Note I only take 1 or 2 pills a day because of the price. So yes has made a difference for me.

Will I lose my hair if I stop using the pills?

What happens when you stop taking is that the hair that was being maintained and restored by the product will start to "die" and fall out. It sort of catches up with what you would have lost or what would have thinned having never been on the product. Once you are done shedding all the hair that was being restored, you end up where you started before using the product. This happens with any sort of hair supplements or even hair treatments like Nioxin and Rogaine products, etc.

Does this product contain shark? the image of the box indicates that it does but their faq on the website says it does not.

According to the Ingredients list and FAQ Oon their website (ww.nutrafol.com) “How do you source your marine collagen? Some other hair growth vitamins contain marine collagen from various marine sources, including shark, which is an endangered species. Nutrafol’s marine collagen is sourced from North Atlantic Cod caught from protected waters in the wild and derived from the skin and scales, otherwise unconsumed and unused parts of the fish.”

Does it contain any hormonal products? Thanks.

I do not think any hormones are in this product. The product contains mostly vitamins and minerals. I decided to purchase this product based on customers favorable reviews. After using Nutrafol for almost two months, I have not seen any great results in the condition of my hair. I have used viviscal and Matrix 5000 in the past and I feel those products worked better and for a lot less money.
