I use it for gaming with Xbox and as home theater.Is a good trade for this price. Quality not the best but I was not expecting much from it. In bright sunny days its impossible to use. It has speakers enough for medium room so no need to purchase extra ones.

I bought this to use outside for an occasional backyard movie night. I don't have great wifi reception in my backyard, so I didn't want to have to stream anything using screen mirroring or Wifi; I wanted something that I could plug in to my computer. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money because I know we'll only use it a handful of times this summer. Based on all of that, I fully expected this product to be kind of meh, and I was willing to accept that. But I have to say, I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this projector. The picture is very clear, and it's super easy to use. The built in speakers are not very loud, but you can easily connect a bluetooth speaker to your computer or whatever you're using to make the sound better. I read about the noisy fan on other reviews, and while you definitely hear it, I don't feel like it's distracting at all. You kind of forget about it after a minute.The only thing I will say is that the speakers don't support Dolby digital, so if you are playing Netflix through your computer, you'll have to change the audio setting to the original 2.0, not the 5.1. Netflix defaults to 5.1 every time, so you will have to remember to change it every time or you won't get sound. Also, I learned that you have to change to 2.0 BEFORE you connect the HDMI to your computer. If you start on 5.1 you won't have sound, and if you change it over to 2.0 while the HDMI is connected, it won't recognize the change. You have to power off the projector, disconnect the HDMI, change your audio to 2.0, then turn the projector back on, then connect the HDMI. Once I figured that out, I had no audio issues. Another bonus is DBPower, the manufacturer, has 24/7 live chat customer support, and they were helpful with troubleshooting that issue.I bought a huge inflatable screen which has not come yet, so I've only tried screening something on the side of my house so far. But based on that, I'm really pleased with this purchase, and I don't think you will find anything better at this price point.

I purchased this to support presenting to audiences for Cub Scout pack meetings and found us trying to use this to play movies outside at night.Basically, it works great (1080p) as long as the ambient light is very low (like at night outside or in a very dark room). No issues with picture quality.If you want to play movies, the following will not work from your iPhone or iPad due to HDCP filtering (not an all inclusive, or should I say exclusive, list): Netflix, Hulu, DirecTV Now, Amazon Prime. HDCP is HD copyright protection, a system used to minimize piracy. Even if you legitimately want to stream from your smart device via lightning adapter to HDMI cable, this will not play it due to HDCP. Instead of trying to bypass it, some services like You Tube will play through this device. The best answer is to purchase a streaming stick, such as a Fire Stick or Roku, to play through this device (you need to be within WiFi range). The streaming sticks will play the picture great, but then there is no sound (another thing to fix). This problem can by overcome by using a Bluetooth speaker (they are dirt cheap these days for decent quality sound); connect the streaming device to the Bluetooth speaker using the settings on the streaming stick (Amazon’s Fire Stick has this option in the settings).That said, you can have fun playing movies outside on a projector if you don’t mind setting up this contraption and having the required power supplies within range.Hope this helps - I learned all this stuff by trial and error.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this projector. I wasnt so sure about it since it was cheap. I was expecting something wat i paid for. Turns out i was wrong. Work really well. I mostly use it for movies/tv shows. The first day i got it i set it up right away. My brother came to visit and he also loved it . And he even got convinced on getting one of his own. We ended up watching 2 movies that same day. U could bearly hear any noise from the fan. The speakers on it are not so great but i use my own bluetooth speakers and it good wit me. I was able to use hulu and HBO. When i opened HBO at first it wasnt working. I was only able to see the image but no sound from the projector. Then i connected my phones bluetooth to my BOSE speakers and i was able to see and hear everything. I guess some APPs u need to use different type of speaker for you to hear the sound because wit just the projector u wont be able to hear anything. Image was great. I was pointing it towards a blank wall even my ceiling and it was great. Easy to set up. I havent tried using netflix on it yet. Also u need to get that lighting to hdmi cable for u to able to use this projector wit ur iphone. Also havent tried using the remote it comes wit it. I need to buy the batteries but i been using the button on top of the projector and they work good . The video i upload is of me watchin on my ceiling .

Llevo casi un año con él y no ha presentado fallas, el sistema que trae es ultra básico, elAudio es calidad media pero cumple con su objetivo es fácil de usar y no ocupa nada de espacio
