Super simple to install, and the volume is really loud and clear without having an amplifier. This thing is built tough and ready for all the harsh environments we put our boats through.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 170 Boston Whaler Montauk center console. This was my first time installing a marine radio and it was a breeze. The instructions and online YouTube videos are limited (I should make one), but it was easy to figure out/plug and play! Make sure to download the app and use itTo control music when you are setting this up. I made the mistake of not using the app and boughtMore speaker wire (16AWG) thinking my wire was bad. This is a great system if you have limitedSpace to mount a radio. Highly recommend! I paired the BB-100 with fusion speakers (the ones without the LED’s).

Bluetooth connection works well through thick fiberglass and the power is good. I’m able to control the volume in the separate zones with the mobile app and the control puck. Also has audio in RCA plugs in case I want to use… a turntable? A cassette deck? Not sure but it’s there.

Quality product, fast shipping

I had to buy this to replace the Garmin Fusion BB unit in my boat, which bricked for no apparent reason. Of course it wouldn’t fit in the same place so it had to be remounted. Of course the electrical connections were changed just barely enough to prevent plug and play, forcing me to rewire the entire system. Garmin gives me no reason to believe this unit will last any longer than the last one and of course there was no assistance from them on replacing the bricked one. Unless you absolutely need to control your boat sound system through your Garmin sonar/chartplotter due to space constraints (which I have) , I’d look at a different brand. This is my 4th boat and first Garmin system, and the first time I’ve ever had to replace a sound system.

I've been using the RA70 for years. New boat didn't have a good spot I liked to mount the head unit so went with this. I use my Garmin and the NMEA 2000 network to view what's playing. Happy so far but if I had the room I would rather the actual head unit.
