Replaced old unit with this exact replacement
Product works well as long as you setup a scheduled replacement of the filter, wipe down the filter housing and be sure to apply some oil to the gasket. Hand tighten the filter housing but don’t overdo it. Buying the optional wrench can make this an easier task but as long as you oil the gasket and service the unit periodically you shouldn’t have any issues. We have these in use with our entire fleet with saddle tanks in 1 ton trucks.

Great Filter. Has 1" connections so you will have to buy reducing bushings if your system is 3/4"
Excellent filter. I use it with a Fill-Rite pump to refuel my aircraft in my private hangar. I like the clear bowl that lets me see contamination and water if present in the fuel. I also like that it is made in the USA. The cost was reasonable. My only issue is that it has 1" connections instead of 3/4" connections like the rest of my fuel system. But that's a minor issue that was resolved by installing reducing bushings that are readily available at any hardware store.

I used it. It works. I took it off of my girlfriends sister's boyfriend's truck. Best acquisition ever.

Yellow bowl not clear
I received this and the bowl is supposed to be clear. It is very yellow. I’m using it for diesel and the yellow color makes the fuel look bad.

Long lasting and easiest to use.
This one is worth the extra money, the drain is the best quality and won’t leak at all and the plastic doesn’t go bad in the sun.

A little too tall
My opinion, I think it’s a great idea but it’s a little too tall for a transfer tank in the back of your truck because you need to extend it up so far but if you want to drain it or change it filter it sits right down on your tank so you probably need to extend it up about three or 4 inches so you can drain it into something instead of all over the back of your truck but then you would still not have enough to get the filter out to change yet so possibly six or 8 inches so you could actually change your filter or just put a short filter on it like Regular oil filter or put it on the driver side where it hangs at the side of your bed and then you would fill it from the passenger side
