The Legend of Drizzt 25th Anniversary Edition, Book II

This is such a well known story, I am not going to do a review here, but am going to touch on what you actually receive. I got all 4 books in this series all 4 of them were in good shape (no tears, blank pages, and the cover was intact). One of them had some "stains" on one egde of the book but was not big/bad enough to take the time to return.For me, the story/value gets 5 stars, but I am giving this 4 due to Amazons practice of how they ship books (unwrapped, floating around inside a box).

This is another enjoyable book about Drizzt. I think most people will enjoy reading it. However, the book is predictable. The fight scenes are generally a jumbled mess that I gave up trying to visualize due to how poorly they are described. At times the story is very rushed. I have the 3rd trilogy in this series already. But it will be a little bit before I'm ready to read it. There's also numerous misspellings throughout the entire book. If I could give this book a 3.5 or 3.7 tops, rather than a 4 I would.

Next to Tolkien the best fantasy ever written.

I have to give 5 stars for the writing! Amazing author and the character development is incredible. However the copy I had, particularly during the Halflings Gem, has many, many typographical errors which I posted a few images of. It didn’t take away from the reading experience much but there were enough that I felt like it should be mentioned.

Son buenos libros.Sin embargo, leí primero las precuelas (escritas después) y se nota una mejora considerable en ellas. Hay algunos personajes a los que les falta desarrollo y que espero encontrarlo en los siguientes compendios.

Endlich gibt es die Drizzt Do'Urden Reihe als gesammelte Werke und man muss nicht mehr gefühlt 50 von diesenkleinen Büchern kaufen! Das wurde endlich Zeit und die Bücher sind einfach der Wahnsinn!Wer R.A.Salvatore nicht kennt der kennt Fantasy nicht (meiner Meinung nach)Unfassbar was der Autor an einer unglaublichen Welt zusammen schreibt, mit den aberwitzigsten und interessantesten Charakteren die man sich vorstellen kann!Der Humor ist auch unschlagbar!Man kann nur sagen holt Euch einen Buch nach dem Anderen (sind immerhin 1000 Seiten Dinger, also nix für Lesefaule) und Ihr lest eines der unfassbar besten Fantasy-Bücherreihen die es jemals gab!Absolut Weltklasse!

Solid price for three excellent fantasy books, but this version is very heavy and bulky.

Independiente de la calidad literaria, está edición me ha salido con el error que podéis ver en las fotos.Al llegar a la página 504, pasa a la 473 de nuevo y se repiten todas las hojas hasta la 504 de nuevo que pasa y si a la 505. No sé si me encontraré algún fallo más así. A primera vista parece que no.
