Works great for backup/restore on Windows 10
I needed a replacement for my beloved Norton Ghost, which is no longer available. Acronis True Image does what Ghost did, and much more. I can make system images as well as file/folder level backups. I can create a system repair disk to restore my system in the event of a failure. And much, much more. Although there are a lot of options, the UI is fairly intuitive and the online docs are very good. Once you determine what you need/want for your system, you can schedule regular backups and pretty much be hands-off until you need to restore from a backup (Restoring is easy; whether individual files and folders, or your entire system.)

Great backup solution but had some issues creating bootable disks
I have been using Acronis True Image for a number of years now. It does a good job of backing up all my PCs in my home office. I back up the PCs to a NAS once a week and do real time file backups with Google Drive File Stream. I have used Acronis several times to restore a hard drive after a crash or when I've replaced a conventional hard drive with an SSD. The cloning feature is very handy for that. The only complaint I have is with the 2019 version I had problems creating bootable media to a USB drive. It failed twice on my main desktop PC and rendered the USB drives useless - I had to throw them away. I was successful in creating a DVD boot disk but don't understand why it wouldn't work with a USB drive. The DVD boot disks are easier to store and keep track of so maybe all for the best but folks who want to use a USB drive to do this be aware that this may be a problem. Interestingly, on this PC I was using Acronis 2017 and had no problems creating a USB boot drive. When I upgraded to 2019 I figured I'd better create one in that version and that's when it killed my two USB drives. Don't know why this happened or whether this is a bug in 2019.

Top of the line new PC and worst install ever
I have in the past used Acronis True Image and although I did use it for a while, I finally gave up on it. I can't remember why (years ago). But I decided to purchase it again and give it a try. Whew - what a trial it has been. My new computer is amazing for it's speed... until Acronis install. It took almost two hours to install. I do know that the install was from the purchased DVD but switched to downloading a more recent copy from their site. The site may have been experiencing slowdowns. It finally did install (I think - it said it did). So off for some dinner I went after starting up the program. In 1.5 more hours, dinner finished, watched news, and back I went. Gee, in all that time Acronis is just sitting doing something and finally showed the program which immediately asked me to create an account. So I put in my name and my email and a password. That was five minutes ago (another indication of site slowdown). Ah, I finally have registered and received email conformation along with a statement with my serial numbers. But wait, my install was the first of the three PC package I bought and the key that came with the DVD has two groups of 8 characters each. The confirming email has a string of characters and I can only guess that even though the groups of 8 separated only with dashes, all three keys are there, just not separated. What's that about? Do I use the whole string for the key now? Come on people, you can do better than this. Finally I am ready to actually back up my entire system and ... "Failed to run the task: The task timeout is over." Wait - where is the ability to select which image I want backed up? What timeout? Well looking into that timeout, there's information about closing up everything else that's running and other things to try to "speed things up". Really?I have been working with PC's and Macs from the beginning of these devices and this has been by far the worst install of any package I have ever used. I will try again tomorrow to figure out what the heck is going on and how to (maybe) use this product. Very disappointed so far. I'll update anything I find out tomorrow or maybe the weekend... or maybe just return it to Amazon and get it off my PC. For those who have found it easy to install and use this version, good for you. I wish my experience was the same as yours. Oh one more thing to report. There are "helpful" question marks you can click to clarify some of the settings. That's a great idea and other programs use this technique to provide help. This one uses HTML to present the information in your browser and when you click on other question marks, it brings up yet another page in the browser. I ended up with 8 browser tabs for the eight question marks I clicked on to get information. I am sure there's a way to do that better but that's what happened to me and I have wasted enough time with this already. So it's the next day and I am rethinking the whole thing and have become very worried about some of the reviews which talk about this program destroying their hard drive. How can that happen. Well if Acronis True Image codes down deep into machine code to be able to copy partitions quickly then I suppose it's possible to force the hard drive to work harder than it was designed for and who knows about SSD memory, which my new system has.So sadly I will return this to Amazon. Suggestion for Acronis: get people to try out your new products in front of you to see how they react when they try out the package.

Pretty good but not perfect.
This app is the best I have been able to find that meets my needs. It is the best for restoring to the original phone folders. That being said, I am still struggling with a few things:>How to control (limit) the storage space required for the Reserve Backups.>Mobile Backup custom location not working (I have not finished trying)>The display of photos is very primitive, not being in any particular order. In general, at this point, I would say that this is a very good solution for backing up the PC and phone for eventual recovery from a catastrophic event, but for displaying your photos, you would be better off with something like Google Photos or Amazon Photos.

Good product at a very good price!
One of the lowest prices I've found! I love all the things this software can do and it can do it all very well!
