Vanguard Stainless Steel Elegant Runner | Compatible with 17-22 Honda CR-V

Bought this for my 2018 CRV Touring, and it looks great. Sits a little low, but I still think it provides adequate protection. I live in a city and constantly have to parallel park every day, so I wanted to keep my bumper as protected as possible without anything interfering with the Honda Sensing and radar. This works great, and I haven't gotten any interference from it at all. I had my mechanic install it because I don't have the tools to do so myself, but I'm sure it'd be an easy job for a DIYer. It feels very well made and hopefully will last for years to come.

I'm from NJ. I ordered this from Auto-Beauty in Woodside, NY, off of eBay. It was easy to install. I, unfortunately, returned it because the guard sits way too low on my CRV. This guard is not recommended for public urban protection as a higher vehicle's bumper will bypass the guard, and ram your CRV's bumper.THIS GUARD IS MEANT FOR OFF-ROAD PROTECTION. IT WILL PROTECT YOUR BUMPER FROM BIG ROCKS ON THE GROUND, BUT NOT FROM PARKED SUVs (like Explorer).As a side-note:Buyer beware... I ordered another item from Auto-Beauty (Vanguard) VGFRG-0283-1341SS through CARID because CARID stated that this item was available, but received VGFRR-1056-WIFSS. The item and included instructions were for a 2014 Nissan Rogue. CARID representative stated that the item was sent directly from Vanguard, so it is their fault. This is the third item I'm returning.The first was the low profile off-road guard (this Amazon listing). The guard was nice, and it fit well, but it is not for the city life. My fault.The second was a rear double-layer bumper guard. It did not come with installation instructions. I received random half-assed pictures from Vanguard showing me a customer's installation. Pictures are not a substitute for instructions! Do your job! I returned the rear bumper after I deciphered that the installation is half-assed. The bumper guard's mounts are bolted to an improvised part of the rear bumper assembly. The bumper guard mounts should be attached to the frame holes over the muffler, as with Broadfeet's version of this bumper guard. DO NOT BUY Vanguard's version.So far Vanguard has not left a favorable impression with me. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, no one else makes a front bumper guard for Honda's 2018 CRV...
