Fantastic product. This is our third purchase - we decided to upgrade due to battery life and the additional features. Also the bigger one is more suitable for the dog now she is new full size!

Brilliant I brought the XL for my Rottie. It's a great design and very easy to use. The app tells you loads of information. It works Worldwide and shows you where your dog is even heat spots and you can activate a light on the tracker via tge app if you can't find your dog at night also you can turn on a beeping sound on the tracker so you can find your dog more easier. I brought the premium subscription for two years upfront just a shame they don't offer a monthly plan for the premium service. The app shows me how active he is, any day naps and night sleeping and how long for etc you get three different colours for sleeping patterns like your smart watch does. This tracker works world wide by GPRS and a unlimited sim card that works on any network. Also while your dog is home it can use your WiFi to save the battery. The smaller version which is lighter has a much smaller battery in it. This bigger version can last upto one month. It's very easy to charge it. I've ordered a spare charger as it's magnetic but has two little connectors that charge the tracker up. I've also brought a pack of four extra collar clips. I believe if you have a subscription and it does get list they will replace the tracker free of charge. But please do check that. Definitely recommend. You can also set up a geo- fence so if your dog goes beyond the tracker will send you a notification. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner.

The Tractive XL GPS Dog Tracker is decent for tracking your dog’s location, and the battery lasting up to a month is a real plus. Real-time tracking works well, though it can struggle a bit on countryside walks, sometimes showing “ghost paths,” which usually fix themselves after the walk ends. That said, there are a few frustrating issues. The app assumes how much exercise your dog should get and tries to make you feel bad if your dog doesn’t meet the “average breed” level. My dog has bad legs, so this is really unhelpful and feels unnecessary. Another downside is the steep upfront subscription cost—you can’t even access the app to see your dog without paying first. That feels like a big barrier, especially if you’re just trying it out. Overall, the device itself is solid for GPS tracking, but the subscription and exercise assumptions make it less user-friendly than it could be. Will use it for a couple of weeks to see how I go, but I think their might be better out there.

Theres no better unit, live tracking from 5 minutes upwards, nit found another unit that does

Ok, this is for the tractive tracker for large dogs. Initially all went well, unit worked fine and we ended coughing up for the two hundred pound subscription (2 years cover) which included a lost unit cover charge as well - you lose it, they replace it. Recently we have had issues with phone network providers switching off old 2 and 3G masts. Needless to say the tracker no loner works, after contacting the help desk, it took them several days to reply and suggest basically rebooting the unit, like we hadn't tried that already. Multiple emails down the line, still no service of the unit, helpdesk now totally ignoring us - bearing in mind that so far we have paid around three hundred quid in total at the moment. Still waiting, have emailed them today threatening legal action with pursuance through the small claims court as we are being totally ignored. The dog is walked at least twice a day, he escaped yesterday, none of which was shown on the tracker. I will update if anything positive happens, many thanks for reading. An update! The helpdesk has refunded the subscription cost to me, they refuse to refund the original unit as it was an Amazon purchase. They now want the spare one they sent out to test returning - at my expense - tracked of course - maybe they could use their tracker! They blame O2 for the loss of the LTE signal where I live, O2 beg to differ and claim the signal is fine - wonder who's fibbing, yes it worked for nearly 3 months, then stopped, we were not happy bunnies all said and done, I will get another one from elsewhere.

Le GPS fonctionne à la perfection. Par contre l’attache en caoutchouc n’a pas résisté 15 minutes. C’est un appareil pour grands chiens, il faut donc composer avec la violence de leurs ébrouements.

Bought what should have been the highest quality one and after 14 months it will no longer charges. I spoke to them about their warranty and they offered to replace the unit, but then wanted me to pay shipping and import costs that would be more than the device itself. I will no longer be using this company and would avoid using them.

La pila le dura suficiente lo que sucede es que tiene es que configurar la zona de ahorro de energía y permanece prendido todo el tiempo es hasta que sale de la zona de ahorro que entonces puedes monitorear en la app el modo live o el de paseo, lo cargue desde que llegó hace 4 días y sigue con la pila cargada, monitoreo los paseo de mi peludito y sin problema, la app es fácil de usar y muy intuitiva, si requiere pagar una membresía pero desde mi punto de vista lo vale porque intenté usar un Tag y no funciona si no hay un móvil cerca al cual conectarse.

Stor förbättring jämförd med tidigare modeller. Funkar nu utmärkt, även med dålig mobiltäckning. Ackumulatorn håller mer än en vecka.
