Melissa & Doug 1,000-Piece Knock Knock Doorways Jigsaw Puzzle (29 x 23 inches)

I HAVE NOT HAD THE TIME YET TO DO THIS PUZZLE. I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THIS FOR A FRIEND AND ENDED UP SAVING IT FOR MYSELF. THEN I WILL PASS IT ALONG. I LOVE A CHALLENGE. THIS JUST MIGHT LIVE UP TO THAT.WOW, QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY. VERY WELL MADE. PIECES AND THICK AND EASY TO HANDLE. SNAP TOGETHER AND STAY SO YOU CAN DO SECTIONS OF THE DOORS AND MOVE IN PLACE. BOX IS WELL MADE BUT A LITTLE LARGE.

This was a fun puzzle to do, not terribly challenging if you are a hard-core puzzler, but a nice, mid-range level. The colors are superb and it is well-contructed. The subject matter was interesting and some of the similarity-colored doors took some doing to put together. This would be a great puzzle for a family to do.

I have a few Melissa and Doug puzzles - the family enjoys them especially in the winter. We finished this particular puzzle and found a piece missing. I contacted customer support through email, was asked to call them directly, and spoke with a very helpful person. She said that she could not send a single piece in the mail because it would likely not fit (they are all hand-cut puzzles) so she sent me a whole new one.

I thought it was just my fault, but I am missing *ONE* piece, one edge board piece. But because many others mention it here, looks like it wasn't my fault after all. This is still a fun puzzle. Took me over 2 days working on it. And I also ended up staying up to 3 am because it was so fun! The red doors ARE challenging so wait until the end for those, as well as all the bricks. Overall, a solid fun time for me, as I haven't done a puzzle in yeeeaaarrs! Next time, will likely stick to Ravensburger puzzles. More pricey, but it will ensure better quality, especially since I'd like to glue it and hang it.

This was a fun puzzle to do with a group of people. We did it over holidays, and ages 8-adult participated. The small doors in sections allow one person to work on a single area of the puzzle. Many colors and themes on the doors. Pieces were all included and fit together well.

Beautiful puzzle. The colors are bold, bright and crisp. The pieces were solid and not to small. It was reasonable challenging but not overly so. My dad was visiting and were able to complete this together over about 3 days. I wouldn’t hesitate buying another puzzle by “Melissa & Doug” because of the overall quality. I’d definitely recommend this to others!

The media could not be loaded. Most of these puzzle pieces are the exact same cutout shape!When you put these pieces together, they seem to fit...and then when it doesn't make sense,you have to take them apart and try over and over again.We did this throughout the entire puzzle (including the edge pieces).The box doesn't display the entire picture. It would have been nice to have a picture of the puzzle.I would expect the Melissa and Doug to include a variety of puzzle shapes.
