Nice compact and light machine easy to manouvre around items. Good quality item cleans well and removes majority of water and shampoo aiding drying time.

Great quality. Works really well, picks up so much that the vacuum doesn't, the water is gross!! Will be using this regularly. Great value for money and price, definitely worth it. Very easy to use and set up. Great purchase!

As a busy family of 5 with a million other things on the to do list, replacing our carpets is just so far down the list at the minute, hence buying this product to try and revive the carpets after 13 years of children and pets destroying it. The cats in particular have decided to use certain corners as their personal litter tray and as we can’t afford to change the carpets at the minute I thought this was the next best thing. At first use I am quite impressed with the spot cleaner. It was able to remove a calpol stain which has been on our stairs for a very long time. I couldn’t decide between buying a compact handheld spot cleaner or a full size cleaner but eventually ended up with this product as I felt it would allow me to get larger areas clean. However, while the spot cleaner is brilliant and effective, I can’t say the upright cleaner does a great job. I have only used it in a few areas and don’t really see it making a big difference apart from making the carpet wet. So if you’re stuck between a handheld or an upright and your jobs are mostly small areas I would go for a spot cleaner over this product. It does take a few tries to get the hang of removing the water container but once you do it’s easy to use. Other reviews mentioned it leaving carpets very damp which I didn’t find at all. Using the spot cleaner I found it sucked up a lot of water and the carpets were pretty much dry within a few hours. Overall you get what you pay for for £100. It’s never going to do the job of an industrial cleaner but it’s handy for cleaning stains and keeping carpets fresh in a busy home.

The carpet cleaner seems to be working very well. Easy to put together and use. Its not too heavy and my carpets cleaned quickly. I di have a very wonky floor so that made it a bit harder and I am unsure in some aces if anything was even happened. I dont blame the carpet cleaner but I thoguht I add this in case anyone else has a wonky floor.

Bought this on behalf of my daughter in law. She has had no end of trouble from it. Vax "customer service" offer to repair or replace the item but only up to a year after the original purchase. This is the 2nd time the machine has broken in the same way (water leaking from the clean tank into the electrics of the machine) so if she accepts the replacement it will be the 3rd machine in the year "guarantee" so when that one inevitably breaks they won't do anything to help. Vax told her to get a refund through amazon but they won't issue a refund either only repair or replace. Don't waste you're money on any vax products as if they break they won't give you your money back.

So far so good cleans good, dont leave the carpet soaking wet, only downside quiet noisy

Pro's, easy to set up, nice long cable, relatively light, definitely picks up pet fur, does a good job overall. Cons, the suction nozzle can easily clog up with pet fur. To clean it properly means removing 8 to 12 screws from the base plate and removing the rollers and drive belt, clean the reassemble. It's do'able but fiddly. Poor design in my opinion, the clear perspex shroud should be detachable for cleaning. Quite noisy but hey, it's a carpet cleaner. Had I paid the £250 these cost when first rolled out I'd feel a bit short changed but for the £100 I paid it does the job and is worth it.
