I have fine, frizzy hair. Over the last several months, the frizz has been unmanageable. After trying various lotions and potions to combat this, without success, I decided to take the plunge and buy some new straighteners. I researched steam straighteners, as I felt my hair was really damaged by my Ghd ones. Many moons ago, when straighteners became popular, I had ones with a steam function and found these were less damaging.This product came up in the top 10 best steam straighteners and on reading the reviews and checking out the features, as well as the price, I made a purchase and am delighted that I did. Straight out of the box, they are so easy to use. I also like the wider plates and the comb. A pair of my old straighteners had a comb and I found it so handy. I can’t understand why more don’t have this feature. After only a few passes through my hair, just as a practice, I saw an immediate improvement.I’ve had them about a month now and my hair looks normal again! No frizz and generally only need to use them every 3 days, at 150c.The only negatives I have found, is the water container is a bit awkward to remove from the body of the straighteners but I’ve found that using a towel or some of that grippy matting stuff sorts this out. Also, distilled water is recommended, which I’ve been using. However, travelling abroad, this may be inconvenient. Don’t think the husband will be too thrilled at me adding to my toiletry haul with a bottle of water so I may have to go with the tap water for those 2 weeks away.However, these 2 minor things do not detract from the overall quality and effectiveness of this product and it definitely deserves 5 stars. Great product..easy to use..fantastic results....would highly recommend using deionised/distilled water (car battery top up water) to prevent limescale build up.(As you would a steam iron)....keeps them smooth on the hair without the limescale bits coming out ..very cheap on the shops to buy this water. The product is a little heavier but works very well..

Love the design and colour of the straighteners . They make a noise when pumping steam so don't be worried by it that's normal for them it says in instructions . Also straighten hair with straighteners inline with marking arrows on the device . Really well made and will straighten afro hair . I use it L'Oréal steam pod straightening products on my hair after blowing hair dry then straighten with steam straighteners and these work just fine . Can be used with or without steam with the press of a button . Warning the comb is metal and gets very hot .Cable length very long and has a cable tie . I've already bought again for a friend .

This is a good straightener. It heats up fast and does straighten thick curly hair with effort. The negatives are: The container for water is very hard to fill..there is a little bottle that comes with it but its awkward to fill through the tiny hole. The comb on the plates is tiny and pulls my hair so I took it off. There was no instructions with my straightener but I figured it out. It's slightly on the heavy side to hold for long periods .All in all I'm happy with it. My hair is thick so it takes work but for anyone with fine hair this will be easy to use. The comb on the plates will work better on finer hair. Super fast delivery.

I have fine, frizzy, curly hair- I have never really straightened it before because I was worried about heat damage. These steam irons are a real game changer. They are easy to use and work quickly, leaving hair straight & glossy…no more out of control frizz for me! Results last or a good 5 days.To avoid the comb ripping hair (as mentioned in some reviews) I found this is down to how the iron is held- if I have the flat/straight side closest to my scalp it glides through. If the other side is closest it does pull. I also use the L’Oréal steam pod milk for fine hair (bought on Amazon) before using the irons which helps.Photos show before (curly/frizzy) and after -with literally just 10 minutes of use on the lowest setting (190)

Just had to review these straighteners! I have very thick, frizz prone long blonde hair with a natural wave. Ive used Ghds for years and never got the same results I have had with these! In half the time of ghds I had silky smooth, shiny hair! My hair is normally quite dull and frizzes easily! I’m still to use these on my daughters hair who has 1/4 afro Caribbean curls but will update when i have!They are a very good quality product, a little heavy in your hand but feels expensive! I just love the extra wide plates, the additional built in comb is very handy! Good long cable, Nice gold colour, Comes well packaged in a lovely box! Great price for a quality product!
