Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Wand Iron Dual 110V-240V, Medium, 25mm, Black

My hubby got this as a gift for me and I am in love with it (and him)! My hair is full of shine & bounce now that I've started using this. My absolute favorite feature is the 360' swivel tip. My fingers don't get burned but yet I keep good control of the iron. I usually use a flat iron to get the frizz out of my hair but this curling iron does the job even better! You'll love how hot it gets in seconds and how it will turn off if you forget to do it. I have also used the curler by just wrapping my hair around the entire barrel (like a wand) and I still get gorgeous curls. This barrel size is perfect for hair that is shoulder length or longer and for those who want tight or loose curls.

Works well, like the swiveling tip, but the top screw already fell out within a month of use. I screwed it back in and works fine, but for the price that should not have happened. I also don't like the long cord... that's just preference, but it makes it unwieldy in the bathroom for small space. I do like how fast it heats up.

So it all started out well and good... I have dense but fine hair that's naturally very straight and this allowed for the optimal temperature control as to minimize damage but be a super effective curling iron. I'm not sure what changed but just after a year of having it, the temperature control started to go haywire! I had it set at the same 340-360F i always had used but it started BURNING CHUNKS OF MY HAIR OFF.Let's be clear about something: I'm 34 years old and have been styling my hair with hot tools for about 20 years and never have i ever had an issue with burning my hair.The first time it happened i Chalked it up to maybe I'd bumped the rolling temp control up to 450 and then back to its original setting after it happened (somehow) but the second time it happened I again verified it was in the normal range I kept it in. In this same use however, I also realized that the device's power control mechanism had completely stopped working- it had just burned my hair again and now would not turn on or off. My only (uneducated) conclusion is that something went wrong with its temperature control mechanism and it blew the circuit out.It's past the point that I have the option to return it through amazon and I'm pretty disappointed considering it was a pretty expensive purchase.

In general it has worked really well for me, but... for such an expensive product I had expected it to hold up much better. I have recently noticed that the black ceramic coating on the barrel under the clip has been chipping off. I've only had this for ~16 months. I have purchased MUCH cheaper versions in the past and have NEVER had this happen. Of course, it is now past the 1 year limited warranty period, so I will need to replace as the bare barrel section is damaging to my hair. Disappointed.

I would have given it a 5 except for the fact that the light shows the degrees quit working. Other than that the curling iron works really great. It gives my hair a lot of body.

This is the best curling iron I have every owned. I have had many throughout my life; I am 50. My hair is hard to curl. This curling iron curls my hair, lasts all day and the curls are tighter than any other curling iron I have had. It heats up in about 60 seconds; really fast. It has a faint beep when it is heated to the temperature selected; the beep is not loud enough to wake someone in an adjacent room. I like the fact that it lets you know when it is ready. The barrel is long and is great for longer hair. It has a cool tip on the end that you can hold on to when wrapping hair. Would definitely recommend this curling iron.

Great purchase!! It's a bit pricey but this is a fantastic curling iron and worth the purchase. For anyone blessed with stick straight hair this curling iron is a gift, heats up quick, curls last all day and the swivel tip makes it so much easier! Also first one I bought was faulty but they remedied the situation to ensure that I got a brand new one that worked. A+ on customer service.

I liked how long the wand was. It gets super hot. After using it a few time the ceramic part starts chipping off. It's pretty bad for how much you pay for it.
