We love our Engel
We love our Engel. We used it as a refrigerator but got it down too low, so some ice formed on the sides. We turned it up a couple of degrees, and later, the ice was gone. We don't sleep near it, so I doubt whether it will keep us awake. It is a little loud sometimes, but if I had to sleep next to it, I would get used to the sound. It is not that loud.

Returned - Poor QC
Showed up damaged, it was dented despite the packaging being intact, which means it left the factory like that. Basket was also damaged.

This is one great fridge. Well made . Cools fast in minutes. Does not wonder around on temps . Steady as a rock. Quiet. Strong construction .Would buy 10 more. Lol

Showed up damaged.

Very convenient
A little pricey but I feel it's still worth it even just for the added convenience of not having to add ice every day. I drive 10000 miles per month and use this fridge/freezer every day. I hard wired it directly to the battery. I leave it plugged in all weekend too when I'm not driving and it hasn't drained my battery yet.

Great product, cooled down to 0°F very quickly on first run. Very well built, should last many years.
