Let me tell you something. I have to eat lunch in my work truck almost every day. This bowl have been a game changer for my lunch game because it allows me to heat up food and pour it into this bowl, or heat up food IN the bowl. I can bring pizza slices in a ziploc and throw them in the bowl and then into the microwave, or i heat up get costo rice bags and pour them into this bowl. It makes my work truck feel a little more like home. The fact that it is collapsible make it so easy to carry around when I might already have a large tupperware container in my lunchbox.

I was looking for a few key features- microwaveable, dishwasher safe, collapsible, yet also big enough to make a bowl of Easy Mac without it boiling over. This fits the bill! It travels everywhere with me. It’s handy to keep in the car to hand some snacks to the kids in the backseat; it’s great to take camping for various meals; and I also like to bring it into hotels with a bag of Easy Mac in case the kiddos get hangry at an inconvenient time. It’s held up well to all of this, hasn't gotten stained by anything, and cleans up easily.

Works well, no issue with microwave or dish washer. Don’t recommend to transport anything in though. The lid does not fit securely to prevent leaks, but it’s to be expected with how flexible the bowl has to be to collapse.

This is not a Tupperware that holds food while traveling. This is a bowl that folds flat to save room in a suitcase and expands to a full sized bowl to make food, like oatmeal, rice, etc. while away from home. This is absolutely perfect for my needs, so much that I bought a green one for hubby. Microwaves well and very easy to hand wash. Highly recommend!

I purchased this because I found many hotels supply a small microwave, but they often do not give you any cooking utensils. This bowl allows me to make oatmeal for breakfast, soup for lunch, and the ability to reheat, takeout and leftovers. When restaurants give me food in either Styrofoam or clear plastic containers that cannot be put in the microwave, I pull out my silicone pot. It’s lightweight, and can be filled with whatever else is in your suitcase so it doesn’t take up room. It has enough rigidity to be safely taken in and out of the microwave without over flexing. I also found it easy to clean. Just put the lid on to store food in the mini fridge. I recommend this bowl for travel.

I took this to Europe in my carryon, no lid, and I used it many mornings when the hotel did not offer breakfast or I did not want to pay expensive prices. I bought blueberries at the grocery, a bag of granola cereal (sometimes raw oatmeal) and a small pint of milk ... would redo after 4 days if needed at the store. This bowl packed so easily, no rubber taste, I did not use anything hot except for a little warmer water for oatmeal occasionally. Did not use microwave at all. I will continue to use this for all my travels. :)

Heavy duty, not that compact, not brand that was advertised. Seems ok but Me.Fan doesn’t have the best reviews, which is why I didn’t go with that, but that’s what they sent anyway. It’s nice that it has a lid though. I ordered a different one from Sea to Summit after seeing it at REI. It collapses to a much thinner profile, which is what I needed for my travel pack.

Hubby uses this bowl when he travels so he can have healthy meals on his hotel room instead of eating out all the time. Easy to clean!

Folds well in to a small shape. Great use for those with limited space. A bit difficult to dry with a cotton or paper towel as it catches onto it easily, but not a huge downside to me.

Great size and resistant to cuts when using a knife due to the stronger, harder, bottom plate. That said, it's a bit flimsier that I expected so difficult when trying to use when on your lap for instance.

Excellent for camping trips. The silicone is heavier than a hard plastic, but it is durable. The lid can be used as a plate, although it is a little flimsy.
