At 58 pounds, it’s heavy enough to stay put but not so heavy that moving it becomes a nightmare. The 1.42-inch thick tabletop gives it a sturdy, reassuring feel for everyday use. That said, I do want to be honest about expectations. This desk is best paired with a height-adjustable office chair. The desk height (about 29.5 inches) is standard adult height, which works fine as long as the chair can be adjusted properly. Also, if you’re planning a heavy dual-monitor setup or professional graphic design work, this may not be the ideal choice. The depth is better suited for single-screen or laptop-based setups. Very nice desk, the drawers rolls out smoothly. Assembled easily. The seller is very responsive to inquiry. The desk we had was damaged upon delivery, but was promptly replaced by the seller. -- I am updating this review due to a charge that was made in my account. The damaged desk was refused to be returned and was assured that I will not be double charged. The damaged desk was eventually disposed as junk. Sure enough, after a few months, another charge was made to my credit card and the seller refused to acknowledge the charge and state to deal with my credit card company. Please be careful to this seller who does not value their words. I do not know if this is a scam to send damaged items and be charged with it but the seller denies the charges which clearly appears on the credit card.

This desk had a couple shortcomings, including that the wood was slightly chipped and warped when it arrived, but overall it is sufficient if you’re looking for a desk for a college dorm room perhaps, or a spare room in your house. In terms of sturdiness I’d say it’s moderate, although it’s not a sturdy item I’d trust around rambunctious teenagers, as there are some slight gaps where the wood should line up perfectly. The drawers are perfect but the frame of the desk has some slight inconsistencies. The color and size are ideal, in my opinion, and versatile enough to match most decor. Assembly was quicker than we expected; with two of us working together, it only took about an hour which is a pretty decent assembly time. Overall, the desk is okay but I’d wait for a sale since I’m not sure its value justifies the full listing price.

This table’s quality totally exceeded my expectations! The tabletop and side panels are made of thick, sturdy wood, and it looks super sleek and high-end. Plus, it comes with three spacious drawers-such a great bonus!
