Meat runs $4.00 a lb - even fish! So if you consider what the ingr. would cost to purchase at gro store, you can see this price isn't too bad. Also when you think of the health benefits, it is worh it. Lately I have given much dog food to the shelter cause my dogs refused to eat it. So perhaps in the lolng run, I will save money. So Very Glad they had a Variety Pack of Samples!(order carefully - cause they also offer trial bags that have 10 all the same food! which seems a waste to me)

The only kibble my Chihuahua will eat! It does contain wheat, however which can cause allergies in some dogs.
