Yes, yes, yes!!!
Ok, I’ve been getting a keratin treatment done for almost $300 every summer. This summer I wanted to try and do it myself. First stuff I bought I thought I was going to DIE. My eyes, lungs, throat all on fire. I just about gave up but thought let me try a different brand. Finally stopped being a dummy and bought this since it is formaldehyde free. First of all, a bit of a chemical smell but NO burning eyes or throat. I love the fact that you leave it in then mostly wash out before drying and straightening. From what I can tell so far this works just as well as any of the other products you have to leave in when you dry. I will give warning to anyone with colored hair. Now I dyed my hair a dark red anticipating getting a keratin treatment. Now I’ve had this done so many times I know the outcome which is a light auburn red, perfect for summer and just what I wanted. It did exactly that. It lightened my red about two shades. I love it, but for those who DONT want it to effect their color you might want to try something else or be prepared to dye your hair after treatment. It was time consuming, I have short hair and from start to finish it took me a little over three hours. Now I really took my time and did the straightening process piece by piece but I wanted to be sure I was thorough. The result is silky straight beautiful hair and I am in love. I will give an update as time goes on if it lasts as I continue washing it, but so far I am in love! It gave me the exact result I wanted and saved me over $200. YES!

No harsh smell!!
I am a cosmetologist and I purchased this product because nothing I had used on a client had worked very well to straighten her hair and previous products had such an unbelievably strong odor. To the point of opening windows and tearing up! But this product works great on straightening and no harsh odor or long, complicated procedures. My only complaint is that it’s priced too high.

Works Great & Easy to Apply if you straighten your hair first
I purchased the Original Keratin Research Express Treatment. I watched a few YouTube videos where people used that product & it was very informative & helpful to see. I used a little over a 3rd of my 4oz bottle. It took me about 6 hours to do the entire process since I was doing my own hair & made sure I flat ironed each piece of hair 12+ times because I have very dense & coarse hair. I then left the product on my hair for 2 days before washing with Keratin Safe Shampoo & Conditioner this morning. I was very pleased to see that my hair was straight when I dried it but also excited that I didn't need to use nearly as much shampoo or conditioner in the shower because the treatment made my hair so much more manageable & silky. I then left & stood outside in the rain in front of the school waiting for students for about 20 minutes. I only had a few strands of hair buck up lol as I call it. In the past my hair would have reverted to a full blown afro in any type of dampness even with copious amounts of straightening & product on it. I am very happy with this & will continue using this treatment. I just suggest wearing gloves while using it. It makes your hands feel soft while its on them but when you wash your hands they then feel stripped & like sandpaper. I was able to exfoliate my face with just soap because of this lol but my fingers are still very uncomfortable. There was no burning of my scalp or hands but the fumes can sting your eyes a bit when you begin applying to hair around your face.

Destroyed my hair!!!!!!
My hair was extremely healthy, no split ends, it was silky and soft and the only complaint that I had was that it would get frizzy in the humidity. I used this product and followed the new updated instructions completely, and my hair is now dry and full of split ends. Literally every single hair on my head has split ends and is breaking off. Everytime I wash my hair there are clumps in the drain, and everytime I brush there’s little broken pieces all of the sink and countertop. I would not recommend this product to my worse enemy.

same results as the $350 Brazilian at the Salon
I have had the Brazilian Blow out product from a Salon and I used same BB product at home and did it myself (still pricey). I couldn't find the BB online anymore so I bought this with a bit of skepticism. It is GREAT. Users be aware - after I did it, my hair felt gummy. I thought maybe it wasn't going to be nice. I went to bed and just combed it out in the morning and it was better. Third day (no wash) it was even softer and nice. I washed it the morning of the fourth day and the styling was a breeze. I used less product to tame the frizz and less heat to straighten my hair. I hope it lasts a few months. If so, I will update this. Heading out the door on a Friday night with my man with NICE hair in South Florida.

STRAIGHTENING TREATMENT
This is NOT a Brazilian blowout. So if you are fully aware that this will completely straighten your hair, then it’s great. I however was under the impression that it was a Brazilian blowout treatment and now I have pin straight hair. It didn’t make my hair stink. Made it very shiny. I would say it’s a 10/10 product if you’re aware of the results before hand. :)

Treat hair with care!
My hair is coily, black with patches of gray, and damaged from hair coloring. The hair ends were extremely dry and frizzy. It would take 3- 4 hours to tame my thick, dry hair and sometimes within the hour, the frizz came back with the slightest humidity. The product isn't overbearing like it's formaldehyde counterparts. The process was 3 - 4 hours, but well worth the outcome of smooth, shiny and very soft hair. Now I can wash, blow dry and flat iron my hair in about an hour and 20 mins. After the second week of the treatment, my scalp was itching terribly. I would put oil on my scalp, but it weighed my hair down so it looked bad. I learned that I used too much heat for too long while blowing my hair. Yesterday, I washed my hair with a keratin shampoo using lukewarm water. Then i let it AIR dry so that there some dampness at the roots. I set the blower on the COLD temp and dried the roots. Today, there is very little itching. The key to maintaining your treatment is don't overuse the keratin maintenance products, handle your hair as little as possible, and use LOW heat.

Followed the salon instructions perfectly and honestly nothing changed. The first day when you fully dry it and iron it looks great but after the first shower gets dry and not nice.

The process was easy and had great results. My curly and frizzy hair is smooth and has had a significant reduction in the curl pattern too. I technically cod wash and wear, but even a 5min blow dry to completely smooth it out works well too. Prior to this, I had to dry my very thick hair for at least 30 minutes and then take a flat iron to it. Not anymore! My results from my past few keratins in the salon were not great either. This Gave way more effective results actually. The results were comparable to years ago when I received a Japanese straightening and then 4-6 months later did a keratin. It reminds me of the original Brazilian blowout. My hair is kind of flat but it doesn't bother me because I have a ton of it, and I've been air drying and then smoothing with a flat iron (just a few passes around the face) before work. Less THAN 3 min! The process itself was simple and easy to do on my self. I used almost the entire bottle although reading the instructions it said I should be able to squeeze product from my hair before rinsing, which I couldn't do as there wasn't enough applied. But it worked great so possibly one doesn't need that much. Used the clarifying shampoo 3x instead of 2 and my hair felt like straw, combed thru as best as I could. I used a tint brush to apply, u can just dump it in and work it through though. Once I applied the one section, I pulled down the next and used a wide tooth comb before applying anymore. This way the excess went thru the new unapplied hair and it streched the product. It also ensures it was distributed evenly. Left it on for 90 minutes and then have a rinse. I tried to leave a tiny bit of product on. Just a really small amount. My hair still didn't feel very soft after the rinse. Then I rough dried and when about 60 percent dry I used a brush to try and keep it tame. It definitely dried way smoother and easier at this point. I then used my flat iron . There was not any really bad fumes that burn my eye and throat at all throughout this. However, I could see some brown film building up on the edge of the flat iron and my comb and could feel it on my hands. Likely it was my residual hair dye. I used a fine tooth comb to flat iron, did 410 degrees and did each tiny section about 8-10 passes. It was quick though just kept the comb at the end of the hair and quickly passed the flat iron over and over. I didn't wash my hair for 3 days but Ive heard this isn't necessary. Just wanted to be sure since my last keratins in the salon didnt last at all. I made sure to keep passing the flat iron over those 3 days to seal it. And although there was no burning fume, my hair does have an odd scent to it. Especially when it's wet. Sometimes it makes me nauseous lol. I don't even know how to describe the smell but it's bad enough I spray body spray in my hair. 4 weeks later and daily washing sign parabens/sulfate/sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride free shampoo conditioner, my hair looks as good as day 1. Oh and it definitely lightened my hair and pulled all my dark dye off my Grey's lol. Other than that I will buy this again for sure

Having Keratin treatment done at the hairdresser has become so expensive, in excess of £130 for my hair. I decided to try this and it works beautifully. The whole process took about 3 hours, but it is so worth it. I have very frizzy fuzzy and dry long hair. Take care to use gloves and wear and old t-shirt or use protective equipment as this stuff stings and itches if it touches your skin. At first when applied, the product actually does not smell bad. However, when you dry your hair, and shortly afterwards (perhaps an hour or 3) once you are finished with the straightening process (take breaks.... it kills your arms) you will start getting a wiff that is hard to describe. Burnt wet dog hair and nuts? Not sure, but it is certainly not lovely - HOWEVER it will go away after the first wash... I didn't wash mine immediately once done, but you 100% can as per the instructions, I just couldn't because I have kids and they were already wrecking the house for 3 hours!! I washed it 2 days later, then got some more of this burnt wet dog hair and nuts smell, but it's gone away since I dried it and now I cannot smell it anymore. My hair is beautifully straight, soft, silky and SO much easier to dry and style literally within 10-15min. I would do this again for sure!

This product came with extremely detailed instructions. It took about three hours to do the whole procedure, and was so worth it! My hair is really smooth and sleek, and the frizziness is gone. I get many compliments! I ordered the 160 mil bottle, I have long fine hair, but there was extra product. I will order the 120 mil next time. I won hundred percent recommend this product!

This is the second time I've used Inverto One, it has purple in it, so highlighted hair does not go orange. The first two photos are before, the second two after I've washed it. I followed all instructions, did it myself, it wasn't difficult, as you keep the product in your hair for 90 minutes, then wash it out with warm water (no shampoo). I did this thoroughly, then blow dried my hair as usual (which was easy as there wasn't any sticky product in it). Then I sectioned my hair and flat ironed it. I used my normal GHD flat iron, which only goes up to 185 deg C. The reason I did this was to also prevent my hair from going orange, which it didn't. Its the high heat combined with keratin that strips any colour out of your hair and makes it an awful copper colour. The lower temperature of the flat irons and the purple in the Inverto One (which they've increased the intensity of in the last year) definitely does the trick. It was not difficult to pass the flat irons at least 8 - 10 times through sections of my hair myself. And you can see that my hair is quite long. Its been raining since I washed and flat ironed my hair (it was straight enough, no frizz either, to not flat iron, but they recommend that you do in the beginning), and no frizz in the rain or damp ! My hair feels fantastic, its silky and the condition is definitely improved. I can't recommend this product enough. And its easy enough to do yourself. It hardly gave off any fumes (I didn't even notice them, perhaps because the temperature of the flat irons wasn't extreme). The hair has a bit of a smell (as with all keratin treatments) but after the first wash it's gone.
