Great quality acrylic rods used for keeping my plants leaves up and in place. Really good support! Definitely buying more when I run out.

Fortunately my application didn't need accurate sizing, but future applications may, so these may go unused in the future. It worked well for the few that I did use, though (3d printed parts that I designed and can easily manipulate anyway). The size ranges anywhere from 2.6-2.9mm from the ones that I tested, and that's fine for my use. Your Mileage May Vary. I knocked one star off for Sturdiness because they are VERY flexible. I haven't broken one yet, so maybe good, but definitely more flexible than I thought they'd be. I was hoping for less flex, and harder. Probably means they're more sturdy than I'm giving them credit for, though.

Perfect for cake toppers

That size fits perfectly inside of clear plastic tubing that has the same inside diameter as these acrylic rods. I'm a crafter, and try different things. I'm making a beaded curtain, using mostly clear beads, and have incorporated the plastic tubing, which looks nice, but tends to curl into a rounded shape. Using clear fishing line and these rods, it keeps the tubing straight and stiff!. They are perfect to make 5 inch spacers between the beaded pattern designs! To cut them, I just score along the outside of the rods, and then they snap perfectly to the 5 inch length.
