Best WiFi router ever
I have had several Wifi devices over the last 15 years and I can say that after having used the Velop dual band router, this is hands down the best device yet. It was fairly easy to install and it was worked seamlessly for the past 13 months without any glitch whatsoever. The range across my home is very very good and I am glad the whole thing works wirelessly (except for the first node connected through a RJ45 with the ISP).Only con is the price you pay for such a good device. It is not only excessive (I paid 12400 for a pack of 2 nodes in July 2019) but one year later the price for the same 2 nodes is 16600 bucks! I wonder how is this even possible, aren't prices supposed to lower over time? Even a brand new Apple iPhone model costs lesser that it did a year ago!

Does the job
This is much better than wifi extender that I had previously. The speed loss is minimum and if you buy enough nodes you won't have any dead zones. However, with 2 nodes it is not able to sufficiently cover my 1585 sq ft apartment. Also the user experience on mobile app is pretty average.

Blazing fast wifi
Pros:- The mesh works much better than multiple range extenders. I used this to replace a router plus two extenders and the network speed more than doubled.- Great app to configure the network - makes it super easy.Cons- The range of the nodes is not all that it is cracked up to be - similar to that of extenders. Needed three nodes for an 1800 sq ft apartment. Can't see how it would work in the advertised range of 4000-6000 sq ft unless there are very few brick walls.- Very expensive.

Pathetic Customer Support
Product itself is good, easy to install and WiFi works perfectly fine as long as routers works. Once it went faulty, its the end. Very very pathetic service by Linksys/Belkin. I have been struggling to get 1 of my router replaced. Faulty product was dispatched and delivered to service center a week ago. Still no news about new product shipment. Worst customer service! I may never ever go for Linksys. I'm done.

Has boosted wifi reach dramatically!
Got it just today. Easy enough to set up. Airtel Fibre Optic customers should connect via Ethernet between router and the Node. The setup manual provided misguides you there. So I had a problem setting up, but once I did... the results were wonderful. Getting 30-40 Mbps in every corner of the house including previously dead zones. Yet to experience other features. Will update review later.

Parent Node performed well but child node not providing speed upto the mark
I have an Airtel Xstream Fiber connection of 300mbps. If I use Nokia router provided by Airtel I get speed of 304mbps over 5ghz WiFi signal. But Linksys Velop initially gave me only 170mbps over 5ghz WiFi but if am connected on LAN using velop it gives proper speed of 345mbps but on WiFi even if you are near to router speeds drops by 45%. I spoke to Airtel they refuse to help for Velop setup. I spoke to linksys technical support team and they said the speed will be half of what you get from ISP some concept full and half duplex on WiFi they were trying to explain a layman in technical terms. But later I found out by doing trial and error using web browser to amend wifi setting and change power transmit to Asia India from Asia china. It started giving me full speed in 5ghz better than my Nokia router. WiFi signals are good across the all area of my apartment and the additional node provides me 80 to 102 mbps speed if I am near the router and little away from router it gives only 25 to 30 mbps. Overall recommendation you can buy this expensive product. Both Airtel and Linksys don’t provide proper guidance or support for the router set up, but Linksys customer support kept following up on the issue which I liked the after sales support of linksys. They asked me to wait for 2 more days and additional node router is smart router to learn and improve speed. Hope it improves else will do LAN wiring. Further I would suggest investing in LAN CAT 6 wiring and buy ₹3000 router that support 5ghz and place it in the center of your apartment for even speeds. Hope this review will help you in making a sound decision. But one good thing is that now I have wifi coverage every where and my apartment is of 1500 sqft.
