So..unpacking is interesting, I would suggest photographing the stages of extracting the parts from the polystyrene formers, just in case you have to return it. However, I doubt that you will as it goes together nicely with very clear instructions and a good parts bubble pack card. It took me about 30mins or so to build, just follow the stages in the instructions. The easy to read computer display is connected via two cable connections, just take care not to damage or route the wires incorrectly. The computer has no control effect on your workout, it just helps monitor usage.The sliding seat is well made and comfortable. It has magnetic sensor under the seat which trigger the computer readings as the seat is moved, make certain the magnet is fitted securely.Rowing action is very smooth and not noisy. Plenty enough resistance for me, I just do gentle rowing at setting 2. I think you can load the resistance a lot more for a heavier work out. Note the centre frame leg is not used on the floor when the seat rail is fully down, I thought that seemed strange, only using the front and rear legs when in use.In all, a good machine for this price and I have confidence in it.

I had been considering buying a rower for a long time. After reading about the product details and comparing to others on this site I decided this would suit my needs the best.I have not been disappointed.Easy to assemble and the quality is brilliant. I wanted a rower to use at home and for my daughter to use as well. ( She is 13 and into her sport)We have both found it easy to use and comfortable. The straps keep your feet in place really well and feels very secure. The seat is contoured so comfortable and the action of the machine is smooth.I am really pleased with the rower hence the 5 star rating I have giving it. I would recommend it highly .

Mechanically speaking, this is a very strong and well-designed piece of equipment which gives a realistic rowing 'feel' but the electronics simply do not work and I got no response from the UK service centre.I bought this to get a proper cardio exercise while the gym's were closed. What I needed was a machine that gave a realistic feel throughout the full range of the stroke and which was robust enough to cope with my 192cm and 100kg frame for intense sessions 3 or 4 times a week. I wasn't that interested in a multi-function computer with lots of programmes as I just go flat out as hard as I can for 10 minutes. I did want to have some idea of how many calories I was burning or get some idea of the distance I was covering virtually just to get some idea of progress from session to session. From the reviews and the manufacturer's spec this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. And the price looked unbeatable for the quality.The machine arrived beautifully packaged with all the nuts and bolts in a clearly labelled blister pack. It was immediately obvious how strong the components were and the machine was assembled in no time. Everything felt good and the rowing action was as good as the machines at my gym. But hold on a minute! The computer wasn't registering anything. So I took it all apart, checked the connections and re-assembled it, took the batteries out and replaced them. Still nothing.The instruction manual had an email address and phone number for a UK-based service centre. Gave them a call and got an answerphone with a message saying that Covid-19 restrictions meant they were all working from home. They recommended emailing so I did that too. No response after 2 weeks. Disappointment has now turned to anger. Amazon, of course, have been great and have authorised the refund. Provided, that is, I can get the machine back to them. But you need a degree in Origami to get the thing back in the box and I can't get the box in the car. And the couriers aren't collecting from homes due to Covid-19 restrictions.Bottom line is: Save yourself a shed load of grief and don't buy this machine.

Such a smooth action on this rower, quality is that of a much higher priced machine. Was easy to assemble with clear instructions and the machine is light enough to move easily. Looking forward to using this daily as part of my home gym set up. On board computer is easy to use with clear information on your workout. Will I be buying more Athlyt home gym products? 100%. Thoroughly impressed with my purchase & incredible value for money

Assembly is not too difficultHowever the product came damaged in two important fronts. The case was cracked via the screws, this results in the vent falling out as soon as it is used. Not a disaster but definitely not ideal.The main issue was the screen. The connector is faulty, so it does not count any of the variables that it mentions. The only way to make it work if somehow hold the connector in an odd angle, not realistic.Overall, I was rather disappointed by the build of this product. If the sellers are reading this, please feel free to send me a new connector to the screen

A great piece of exercise kit that's very sturdy. A great price for something so good.

I had no idea about rowing machines and took a bit of a gamble as really not sure what to buy. Had the machine now for three weeks and used to every day for about 40 minutes and really impressed with the quality. The intensity level at maximum does really give a good workout. I would recommend.
