Tide Clock - Ivory Wave

Fantastic tide clock. After considering many other brands, I settled on this one from Georgetown and couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase.A really simple design yet with a artsy flare which looks great on my wall. No words, letters, pictures or numbers. It’s just a nice, clean look. Easy to determine when high, low, falling, rising tides are occurring once you know how to break “the code”.Just a glance at the tide clock and for a brief moment my mind travels to my favorite beach location of which I’ve set the tide clock even though I’m 2+ hours inland!I’ve owned the tide clock for about two months now. After reading several product reviews as well as doing online research there are a couple things I’ve discovered that might help others when setting the clock.1. Being on the east coast is best as the tide schedules are more predictable and in sync with the clock2. The tide clocks are set to the lunar cycle which is about 24 hours, 50 minutes and 12 seconds per day3. Find the tide schedule for the area you want reflected on your tide clock4. Set the tide clock when it’s high tide during a full moon5. During the month, there will be variations with the tide schedule and what the clock is telling you. I see as much as a 5-20 minute difference some days.6. After one full lunar month (approx. 28 days), and at the next full moon, this clock has kept good time and shows high tide as scheduled.7. We still need to check and possibly adjust the tide clock time every 3-4 months.

Product arrived promptly and free of defects or damage! As a tide indicator, after a week, seems to operate accurately also! The ceramic piece was finished nicely and it was easy to hang!Satisfied and recommended!

Picture doesn’t do this justice! I was in search of a tide clock that didn’t look cheesy. To me a lot of the tide clocks were beautiful vintage style and crazy expensive or ones that to me looked cheap and cheesy or gimmicky. They have the Plastic outdoor rim around the face or a cheesy photo as the background. When I saw this and saw that it was made out of pottery I was intrigued. At first glance I thought the not having the numbers would bother me, after receiving this and placing it on my wall, it turned out to be one of the things I absolutely love about this. Not having the numbers makes this stylish and sophisticated, it doesn’t look like a 12 year olds time clock, it looks like a piece of artwork. If you know how to read a tide clock you really don’t need the numbers. Not to mention the colors match perfectly with my sand and surf theme and colors in my house. Another review stated it was small, for me again you don’t need something huge to get an idea of where the tide is and I didn’t want a big bulky one again adding to the cheese factor. If you’re looking for a tide clock that’s sophisticated and well priced this is the way to go! Extremely happy with my purchase. The craftsmanship is beautiful!!

I love his gorgeous tide clock. It would be great, just as a decorative plate, but the fact that it WORKS is a serious bonus. So happy with this purchase!!

It is a really nice Tide clock. I thought it was bigger but it is beautifully made.

My dad is a boat captain who has an appreciation for minimalist and unique design. I gave this to him for Christmas and he loved it, said it was so beautiful.

I'm so happy with this purchase. I live at the beach and found a perfect spot for it on a bookcase. I see it often throughout the day and always enjoy knowing what phase the tide is in as I pass by the shelf. What I like most is the subtle design. All other tide clocks I've seen are either very cheep and a bit junky looking or they are very expensive and look too masculine for my easy breezy decor esthetic. It would also make a great gift idea!!

Setup for Bournemouth beach it’s holding time well and it’s great before we go to the beach with a kayak to know what the tide is up to without apps.A lovely piece in its own right, this always gets comments from people who come to the house, particularly as it’s quite peculiar to see a clock with no numbers or markings abs only one hand

This tide clock is perfect & exactly what I was looking for. Nothing about the advertising of this product is fake- it looks identical to the picture, is a great size, and perfect quality. It arrived promptly and is now a great addition to our home!

I love this, the prettiest tide clock I’ve come across. When bought from Amazon it arrived damaged in Amazon packaging so I contacted the seller via their website and they figured out a quote to post to the UK. Much more well packaged and arrived intact!
