is this an approved calculator for taking the ACT test?

Despite TI-Nspire CX handheld being permitted for use on the SAT® and ACT®, as well as many other standardized tests, I don't think all teachers know or understand this. We have had to purchase a TI-84 as my child's high school would not allow the use of the TI-Nspire. It really depends on the school/teachers.

Can you use this on ACT & SAT & AP?

I'm late to answer but the CX version is better and is allowed practically on every test the CAS version of the calculator not so much on the college board website they allow the CAS version of the TI-Nspire on AP testing and the SAT. Now for the ACT they have a much more strict calculator policy anything with CAS is prohibited; any typewriter/keyboard in QWERTY configuration is prohibited; PDAs, Laptops, Drawing pads, or handhelds are prohibited; any writing pads are prohibited; and calculators on a device that can communicate with others or anyone out of the test environment is prohibited. So generally the CX version of the Ti-Nspire is allowed on the SAT, PSAT, AP, and ACT testing.
