Beautiful bag! I was worried because of mixed reviews and it said this bag had a lot of returns…not sure why though. I wanted it for my MacBook Air and laptop fan and charger. Everything fits nicely and I could add more if I needed too.

I needed a new shoulder bag and I couldn’t decide which to purchase so I ordered several and this one was my favorite. The green lining sold it for me so I returned the others. The first time I used it was at the airport and by the time I had arrived at my destination, the shoulder strap broke in two. Not the stitching, but the leather itself. Looking closer I realized how poor the quality was and returned it. I’ve never left a review on Amazon before, but I thought it would be good to share in case someone else was debating as to which bag was best for them. Chances are it isn’t this one.

When it came I wasn’t sure about the color. It’s a ton lighter than the picture in the ad. I almost returned it, but decided to keep it. Been using for a while now. It’s wearing nicely and darkening up. I get compliments on it too. Lots of room for file storage and laptop too. I like it.

This product is absolutely handmade and I found it definitely worth the price. I love it and can see having it for several years. With that being said, this is not the fake pored seats of our car and how really the material can be proven from seeing it already gaining some character from usage after a week and the smell. Opened bag up, let it air out (no dryers or external heat), smell faded over two days. Mine has three buttons (one in center) as an update to pictures on here. Strong magnets but will not work if bag is overloaded...product self protection is guess. Very big, all space inside is usable, not comparted up like other bags. Mine has 4 pockets; 1 thin zipper sleeve for paper & writing tools, 2 sleeves for laptop & small to medium books, & the main pouch for everything else (where nothing can get lost in a useless utility pockets)...perfect. 16" in laptop fits perfect in each of the sleeves, main compartment could fit 17", Wish I could do 4.5/5 because received starting dimensions are closer to 17.5" x 12.5" x 4.5" than 18" x 13" x 5", but this could be from the treatments needed for build and then sewing on top of that but this bag has the structure to easily stretch into the dimensions over time with usage. Going with 5/5 because of sense that this thing is going to last...

I have gotten many leather bags from this seller. Good product. They always tend to be on the smaller end than advertised. Whelp.... This one is full blown briefcase size. You can fit a larger laptop in here. It's 18" at least - for real. I wanted one around 15" - and usually I get shorted an inch or 2 when I. Buy accurately.... Sooo took the measurement as a guide and not literally.It's big. I usually have my pad and day book, a reading book and journaling book for work. I can fit a laptop and extras in there too.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE - I am going from 5 stars to 3. I did a review when I first received it. Things have changed since. The smell is really not that bad. I'm thinking some people may be getting really bad smelling bags but mine had a smell but nothing to return it over. It has that raw/animal leather smell for sure. But not THAT bad. This bag, as I said in my previous review is not the plush and cozy bag you see in the pictures. Product pictures are def deceiving. It is on the stiff side, coarse. After some time using this bag, I'm going to have to give it away/stop using it. Its bulk is uncomfortable, the strap cover where the belt is doesn't properly stay and clumsily just moves around and pretty much is a useless feature. For more personal reasons, I'm going to be switching to a backpack or cross shoulder bag type for better support because carrying this shoulder bag has been uncomfortable.The reason I lowered the stars on this bag is due to the useless strap cover, uneasy and weird way the bag would slump to one side while I have it on my shoulder and the flap will come open. It's not the most comfortable carry at all.The things I like, compartments, the likely durability and color.

Ordered a VC Vintage Couture 18" Messenger Bag, but received a 17" Cuero Messenger Bag. The outside plastic wrap had the Vintage Couture branding listed but the product inside had product info from cuero. The Cuero bag is a sepereate listing at a much lower price.The bag itself, much more chemical smell than an average leather product, the 'olive' lining was definitely more lime green than anything, the magnet closures were covered in a thick sticky film and one did not sit flush with them bag. With a raised edge I would worry that much use would pull it off the liner. The strap didn't feel finished, rough edges and poor quality for an item that would theoretically need to receive a lot of weight and stress. The inside insert said this bag was not waterproof/resistant which is very important to know.The goat leather itself, I liked the look of. I think it would look great once it's used and aged a little. Very stiff at first, but that's expected and conditioner would probably help a lot with that. If I had meant to purchase this brand and item at their price I might have been more open to giving it a chance, but as is I am returning it and not re-ordering as I do not want to end up receiving the wrong bag again.
