Tart shells
As with our previous box delivered there are a lot of damaged tart shells which is really unfortunate as the product is really good, due to the amount of broken shells it’s not cost effective and the price is very high

Overall quite nice, even though some were broken.
A nice taste; firm but crumbly, very similar to shortbread, with an 8-month 'use by' date. These are generally a good size at 90mm diameter (70mm inside with tapered sides), but I would have preferred a little deeper than the 10mm inside depth, but fine for frangipane tarts etc. Packed in blue food bags, in 4 plastic trays each with 27 cases per tray, 9 stacks of 3). Of the 108 cases, 24 were broken and unusable (22%), plus 6 than had small chips. Most of the damage was to the bottom tart cases in each of the plastic trays - not to the whole bottom tray - so I think the damage was probably prior to packing in the cardboard box, when each tray was separate and maybe being dropped when handled. But for the quantity of usable cases, it averaged 46p each, so I can't complain at the amount of effort it saved!

Taste nice, good size but 24 delivered broken
• Taste nice, very crumbly texture. Be warned it’s very fragile.• Tart shells are not as deep as I thought• 24 tart shells are brokenI wish I’ve seen the photos from other reviews. My bottom layers tart shells are broken. 24 of them are unusable and I have a wedding dessert table order. Very dissatisfied especially that I’ve paid for these. I’m glad at least I have the majority but I’m also concerned that they might break in transit to the venue; I’ll be extra careful.
