What's the point in having a Jeep if you can't take the top off?? This kit makes it extremely simple to remove and reinstall the hard top on your Jeep. The tools are decent quality, plus it comes in a very convenient carrying case that can easily been stored under your cargo area or in your glove box. 10 outta 10 would recommend to any friend with a Jeep!

Great tools for my Jeep

Wanted to come back to update my original review (see below)...I returned the original delivery due to the pouch being constructed incorrectly. I returned the original delivery, requesting a replacement. The replacement arrived VERY quickly; and the replacement was constructed properly. So, it was obviously an individual construction problem with the 1 unit, not a general problem. Tools work just fine. And I actually prefer the long hex bit to remove the top than the normal 1/4" drive socket with hex bit.My original review is below:Tools are ok. They work fine. The pouch doesn't stay shut AT ALL. Looks like a mistake, they used the same side hook of the hook and loop fastener on both sides of the pouch, so it doesn't stay shut. So now, if I toss it in the Jeep, it won't stay shut and the tools fall out.

I've had my Wrangler JL for about 20 months now, and last month despite only using the wrench maybe four or five times last summer to remove the top and doors, I've found it was falling apart. Apparently one of the torx screws holding it all together fell out, the other was nearly fallen out. I was able to tighten the one a bit (I have none small enough to really get in there to tighten it fully) and it helped but it's still not going to last.This one will do the trick, although it's not the same initial quality that the OEM one was that came with the Jeep, it will at least do the job without breaking the bank.

It's got an extra socket that the Jeep kit doesn't have, and the handle of the ratchet is slightly longer than the Jeep version. It's otherwise about the same quality as the Jeep version. Worked great at taking the doors off my Jeep, and allowed the two of us to tag team the door removal.Make sure to use the T50 on the exterior bolts and the T40 on the interior. It's easy to accidentally strip your door bolts if you have the smaller bit in when you're tightening bolts back up.

Reasonable price and arrived earlier than expected.

I bought my husband a Jeep as a gift, a toy for him to mud and play in so to speak. The tools to remove the doors were missing so we purchased this. He has put them to good use! No problems with them so far and they seems sturdy

I lost the original tool kit that came with my Jeep so I could take off my doors, etc. and purchased this. The price was right but this is a much cheaper version. The bits fall out of the socket while you are trying to use it. If you don't remove the doors from your Jeep very often this will work, but if you are buying this tool to use on a more regular basis, find something that has better quality.

Muy funcional

Bits should be holding in the ratchet with a magnet. However, the magnet was onlu glued so it came out when I removed the bit.I do not recommend this product and will return.
