Gavarny Belgian Truffles Holiday Christmas Gift Assortment Chocolate Box 18.5oz

Box arrived banged up. Chocolates were chalky looking, but tasted okay. I was embarrassed to give these as a gift.

These were a gift for my Grandma's birthday. She loves chocolate truffles. My mom just informed me that while the chocolates are delicious, they are also melted. Mom has had to dig the chocolates out with a knife so she and Grandma could eat them. Grandma never mentioned this, but I was very disappointed to learn of this problem.

The candy is absolutely delicious, but I had to explain that the receiver would not judge the candy by the looks; it doesn't look very good. Wish they could improve the presentation....nothing to do with the taste. Excellent taste.

I received a box of Gavarny Belgian Truffles as a gift from a customer. I took a few pieces home to my husband and he thought he was in heaven. So the internet search began. These are the best truffles you can find. Not too rich, very, very creamy and almost addictive. The box count is larger than you would expect and you would be hard pressed to find such wonderful chocolate for a better price.

I've bought from this company before and got the best truffles I've ever had. This batch came in rough shape though. They looked like they had experienced temperature extremes as they had that white "old" look on them and were deformed and just generally unappealing looking. They tasted mediocre.

the taste of the truck was good, but not exceptional. There was nothing fancy about the truffles. They were just oval shaped lumps of chocolate that looked like something you could have bought at CVS for far less money. I cannot recommend this product.

These truffles arrived very well packed. The box is large and makes a nice presentation. I brought them to two different holiday parties and they were well received. They are delicious although you really can't eat a lot of them as they are very rich and choclate-y. They do melt in your mouth. Very nice gift to bring to someone's house (and leave there so you don't eat them all, hehe).

This was doubly embarrassing as I bought two boxes and gave one to a relative for the holidays. Hers were in the same condition. I have had these chocolates on a prior occasion and know what they should look like when they are fresh. These were not.
