I have a 2019 ram truck. Anyone that knows these tailgates, knows they are heavy, they fall heavy and are hard to lift when closing. This tailgate assist has changed everything. It makes it easy to lift, it doesn’t fall so hard when I open it and it’s made with really good quality. It doesn’t interfere with the tail gate opening or closing. This is a great little addition to the truck that makes a huge difference in its functionality. It was very easy to install.

the shock for the tailgate seems to work fine, the tool that came with the kit broke while using it to try to install the kit.
