i put this on and immediately went oh. okay. so this is going to be an every-week situation. this is one of those tops that quietly slides into your life and then suddenly it’s always clean because it’s always on your body. errands. coffee. walking past a mirror and nodding at yourself. that kind of top. first of all the black. this is a real black. not “kind of black”. not “will look charcoal in photos”. it’s deep, dark, mind-your-business black. instantly makes everything else you’re wearing feel more put together even if you absolutely are not. the fabric is genuinely gorgeous. super soft, smooth, stretchy in that comforting way where it holds you but doesn’t feel like it’s keeping tabs on you. and yes, it is actually double lined. not fake marketing double lined. i held it up to the light. i investigated. no jump scares. fully opaque. braless potential: high. here’s the honest bestie moment though. if you want maximum support and true braless confidence, don’t size up. i did, and while i can still go braless just fine, i should’ve stayed in my normal size if i wanted to use this as a workout top without a bra. this is not a dealbreaker, this is a “we live and we learn” situation. still wearing it constantly. can we talk about the halter ties because i am extremely suspicious of anything that touches my neck for hours. these did not dig in. no redness. no soreness. no dramatic ripping it off the second i got home. i wore it all day and forgot about it, which is the highest compliment i can give a halter. the cut is simple but really flattering. scoop neck is just right, backless but not unhinged, sits smoothly without doing that weird gaping or floating thing some tops do. it looks intentional. like you chose it on purpose, not like it emerged from a laundry pile and won. also i have to say this. i have a love love relationship with reoria. i keep waiting for the betrayal. it hasn’t happened yet. every piece i’ve tried has been solid and this one is no exception. i fear they understand my wardrobe better than i do. can you have too many basics. yes. probably. but if you were forced to dramatically cull your halter tops, this is the one you’d save. this is the survivor. ✨helpful tip✨ wash this in a delicate garment bag for longevity and to stop your dryer from eating the strings. you’re welcome, random internet stranger. hang to dry if you can and it’ll stay looking brand new longer. tl;dr real black, actually double lined, soft and stretchy, comfy halter ties, braless friendly (don’t size up if you want max support). if i had to keep one halter top, it would be this one. the girls who get it get it.
