TEKTON 24335 1/2-Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench (10-150 ft.-lb./13.6-203.5 Nm)

I got it today (4.12.17) . Delivered before the promised date. Thanks to amazon. Tekton like quality torque wrench in the range of 10ftlbs to 150 ftlbs would have costed me about 10k in India. Thanks to global store. I will post a detailed review after using tekton on my work bench. Initial testing done . Accuracy is ok atleast for this price.

Undoubtedly the best torque wrench available in Indian market . It is an export material and hence, takes time to deliver. But the product you receive, you will be happy to buy it again. Bought it for our RAC workshop, and happy!

Worth the price

Its calibrated at ft/lb (US style) measurement and not nm. And all measurements on my vehicles are nm, so I am always converting the values which are never perfectly doable like 18nm is 13.28 ft/lb. How do you get that? Though it does have the nm measurements also marked on the other side, it really has very odd intervals, so you are just left with converting and calculating. Also the piece I received doesn't seem to be caliberated well, for 10 ft/lb when the mark on the handle should reach 0, but by the time you twist it to that combination, it's off the mark. Also a torque wrench's job is to give me correct torque, and it makes it very difficult to get it correct on this one

Quality is good, but functionality is poor or usability is average because even after torque is set and tightened, the handle grip can still move a little bit, that change the set torgue to different torque number.

It serves the purpose but I think I received a used torque wrench.I also highly doubt the torque calibration on this tool as it seems to be used and then sold on Amazon as a new one.
