This frame seemed expensive for what I paid for it, but as it looked nice and would match the decor in the room for which it was bought, as well as looking like good quality I took the plunge and paid £20 for it. It arrived quickly and well packaged and was in brand new condition on arrival. However! When we placed the thin ‘3D’ items we were framing, the frame was face down on a flat worktop surface. On placing the back board on and squeezing (very gently as we didn’t want to break the glass) the whole frame broke apart on all four corners, rendering the frame useless. The engineer in me thought I may be able to repair it using fixings or glue, but on looking at the edges, I found the frame is nothing more than foam moulded in to the shape of the frame edges and then covered in sticky backed plastic! It has very little integrity and will break apart if pushed a little hard when you are framing your item or after a short fall. For £20 I expected better value than moulded foam and a small piece of glass. I’ll be looking for better quality wooden frames in future.

Larger than I was expecting. Looks like wood but is plastic. Looks great.
