Here's the thing with this. It works great with my Liftmaster opener. It has the ability to learn older codes from remotes that use dip switches, even 9 position 3 way switches. Unfortunately this doesn't apply to my Overhead Door dip switch remote, so it didn't work for me. Apparently there is no Liftmaster remote that will work with the Overhead Door remotes. Finding you way through the morass of compatibly charts is daunting, so I took a chance. I don't want to penalize the vendor for this as they refunded my money. I did have to pay return shipping as the device itself was not defective.

Programming is easy as per instructions, used on my Liftmaster garage door.Wish it was cheaper and I could not find in local stores.

They work great but I had to go on YouTube to get directions to set them up. The instructions that came with them would not work.

Replacing old dip-switch transmitters that would control our community gates. Programmed super fast and works great. Appreciate that it uses a standard AAA battery instead of hard to find special batteries.

Bought to replace a lost remote. Reprogramming was exactly as the instructions said simple hassle free.

I have the same exact remote already so I thought I could just copy the settings from that one to the new one but couldn't get that process to work.

It worked for both gate and garage. (Unlike the controller built into the rear view mirror of my car, which did not work for either.) Tip-- Always make sure you buy the type of remote that is the right one for the units it will be controlling.
