Solid and very attractive , love it.
Read all the reviews and took a punt. Glad I did because I am thrilled with it in every aspect. It's well made, solid and just so nice to look at. I had feeders on hooks all along the fence, it was ok but not great. I thought, "I’d put this thing together and leave it with all the feeders on and give it a few days so the birds can get used to it. Well, within seconds they were queuing up to get to all the eight feeders. Just magic and they call all get to it easily. This is a really universal stand that can take all sorts of feeders. It also puts off the crows and rooks as because of the ornamental leaves they cant get to grip any where on top to get at the feeders. I saw one crow wrap his feet round the main pole and try to reach one of them. So I coated the pole in a light grease, it protects the metal but above all it's great entertainment to watch those big birds slide down the pole with no control. Buy it and you wont regret it. I give six out of five!!! Very happy.

IT RUSTS
I like this bird feeder however after a few months use it has rusted, see photo. I don't mind it rusting but other buyers might. Just giving you the heads up. Peace.

Amazing! Your birds will thank you for it!
Amazing product! Easy to assemble and despite not being the cheapest is excellent value for money. To start with I was going to buy a cheaper one but not am I glad I spent the extra on this one! My favourite part is the leaf design at the top, this helps protect baby blue tits and baby great tits from the evil magpies! They pick their seed and then sit up on the top in between the leaves to eat it. I have a range of feeders hanging on it which is very well attended by many blue tits, great tits, goldfinches and greenfinches. Before my feeders were hanging on a bird table but the squirrels kept stealing the seed so I bought this with a squirrel baffle now the baby birds get all the seed and not the squirrels! I really am extremely pleased with it and would highly recommend! The small birds say thank you Peckish do such a well thought out design!

Not worth the price, or fit for purpose
In this case, you certainly do not get what you pay for. Within a couple of months one of the branches broke off and the pole was bending at the first joint, so has been held together ever since by parcel tape. Now ready to break, so replacing after 5 months use. Pity, it's a nice looking item.

Poorly made product
I assembled this when the weather was dry, so in preparation ensured the ground had been watered to soften the earth underneath it. When putting the base section into the ground the 'stability spike' bent and then snapped as I applied downward pressure to it. Once the base section was inserted into the ground with out the spike I screwed the 2nd section in place, this was bent at the bottom meaning the pole was not in a vertical straight line. After adding the third section and placing the arms on top to hang the feeders from, the wing nut used to tighten the arms in place would not screw in meaning the arms move in the wind. Don't bother wasting your money on this poorly made product.

It's sturdy and is still upright.
A great feeding station, easy to assemble. However the top jointing pole had a screw thread that had been obviously damaged by being cross threaded at some point.Undaunted, I sorted it myself, which was better than returning it for everyone involved.

Peckish Secret Garden Feeding Station for Wild Birds
The feeding station is very easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough. Had to wait until the ground was soft enough before pushing the prongs on the bottom of the pole into the soil (don't try and do this when the soil is hard as I think the prongs would bend or break). Once erected and placed in the garden it seems fairly stable. I can't comment on how rust resistant it is, or how well it will remain standing in a gale at this stage. The ornate top with the metal leaf effect is quite attractive. It took the birds a day or two to realise they now have a nice feeding area, and they couldn't leave it alone. The magpies seem to like it too! Our resident squirrel hasn't attempted a raid on it yet, but it has eyed it up once or twice. It will be interesting to see if it decides to try and shin up the pole to the food. Only had this item a few days but would recommend it as so far, it is doing what it is designed to do and it looks nice. Update: The squirrel did manage to get to the bird food LOL! update September 2021: Have since purchased squirrel baffle which totally defeated the squirrels on their first encounter with it. Haven't seen them try and bypass it since.
