I don't typically write reviews unless an item either greatly falls below or exceeds my expectations. This case was certainly the latter, because this phone mount works amazingly. First and foremost, it does not use an abrasive tape that leaves residue upon removal. I have taken the holder on and off my dash dozens of times now and it leaves no indication it was ever there. Moreover, the holder stays precisely where you place it on your dash - it is very secure once you've suctioned it to your desired location. It is also versatile enough to hold some of the smallest and largest phones on the market today. My work phone shown in my photo is an iPhone SE 3 without a case. The phone I took this photo with is my personal iPhone 16 Pro Max with a thin case. The holder holds both phones perfectly and neither have fallen out during hard cornering or accelerating. I have a sporty 2-door coupe with a proper manual transmission and lots of on/off-ramps on my commute. I am a spirited driver, yet neither phone has even budged once its placed in the holder. It's a perfect product and works 100% as advertised. I can't recommend it enough - 10/10.

So far, so good. It's only been a week or two, but the new Summer heat hasn't yet been a problem. The mount stays in place and adequately holds my phone steady. It only holds it horizontally--which I was aware of before purchasing--but it's something to take note of if considering this product. It should also be considered that this mount mostly only finds space and positioning on the upper dashboard of most vehicles. This means that the phone sits in the sunlight. This presents two issues: 1) The phone heats up quickly and can lead to charging being paused, and 2) The being in the sun means no shadow across the screen to block out any glares (and there are certainly glares), which cause the phone screen to be difficult to read.Overall though, the product serves its purpose and does not block driver's view of the road or potential hazards.

Great idea but didn't work for my dashboard the way it slopes. Unfortunately I had to send back.

This holds my car play navigation great. Stable and doesn't wobble or slide/ slip on rough country roads. Easy to use

So this product works great for a while, but eventually the rubber piece on the top part that is needed to actually hold your phone in will come off, and it is no longer usable. I've bought this product more than once and it happens each time. One of the times I was able to use Gorilla Glue to reattach it and it mostly fixed it. The next time (had to buy again because I forgot to remove it from my old car) it had the same issue after only a few months, and this time it didn't go back on well after trying to glue it... so now I'm just going to try a different brand. Another thing to note is the base is VERY large which makes it difficult to place on the dash unless your car has no bumps or angles, which unfortunately my new car does. Not really worth the money since it breaks down so quickly.

I love that this fits my huge phone. I have an otter box case and a wallet on back so traditional holders were not working. This is fantastic!

The phone case I use has a flap on the back that holds 1 ID card and 3 debit cards. I also use a finger strap on the case. The vehicle I drive is a '06 Nissan Frontier.I've search many products that claim to hold a thick phone with case. I've been disappointed by two previous purchases that couldn't come close to holding a phone of about 27mm at the thickest point.This one does- although the orientation is in landscape. I'll take it. It's better than my thick phone vibrating out of the too-small-holder while driving down the highway at a busy interchange when I need my navigation.The bottom surface has a gel pad and a center area that is more adhesive. My dash does not have a flat surface, but without using the center adhesive pad (it has a removable/replaceable plastic protector), it does not shift much on short trips to test.I am able to set the holder close to the windshield as it has a smaller over-all footprint than using an arm mounted holder that obstructs more of your view while driving. With far fewer parts than an arm mounted holder that uses cheap parts to maintain position- it never sags or droops out of position or onto my charging cable. Access to charge is never a problem. Securing the charging cable while phone is in use is a consideration although there are ways to manage it.Since I am required to display state inspection stickers on my windshield, that is the perfect spot to place the holder and not lose anymore visibility while driving.It clamps the phone in place and offers different positions to angle the phone. It does not clamp-down too hard on the case but strong enough to hold the phone in place.I have another phone case with a round socket device that I believe would fit into this phone holder as well. (Yet to be tested.)I am pleased with this product. I am never inconvenienced with removing and reinserting my phone into the case while on road trips and the stops along the way. I want to travel light, get in- get out, and this phone holder finally makes that easy to do.
