AWESOME & EASY TO USE - worked very well overseas!
I shopped around for an overseas SIM card for travel in the UK and decided on this one. I didn't know if it would work or not, but I was tired of paying $10+ a day for my Verizon travel plan, which slowed my browsing WAY down after 250MB of use. I had a spare iPhone SE so I figured I'd try it out.I activated it prior to leaving overseas, and I was surprised that it picked up a T Mobile signal here in the US. I didn't want to have it go wonky on me, so as soon as I knew it was working, I shut off my phone. Upon arriving in the UK, I turned my phone on again and...viola! It worked!I had no issue with it for the week I used it. I wasn't able to use it while in business meetings during the day, but in the evenings, I had no issue at all with 4G browsing...streaming video, sending e-mail and the like. There were a few places on the train trip between cities where I lost signal, but that's because I don't think there was any signal there in the first place.I turned off my phone upon leaving the UK but figured I'd try out the SIM in the US for my mobile passport app. Once the plane touched down, it picked up 3G T Mobile, then it went to four bars, 4G AT&T, which I had for the remainder of my trip in the US.I finally reverted back to my US phone in the airport, but had to give major kudos to how well the SIM card worked during my trip. The only drawback I had was the lack of phone to US texting/calling capability. Maybe I just didn't figure it out, but I couldn't call or text US numbers, and vice-versa, they couldn't contact me. That said, I could text with friends who had iPhones from the US, which I thought was interesting - particularly since they were texting my OTHER iPhone (my US one) but the texts were showing up on the iPhone SE I was using, even though it's not on any of my calling plans in the US (we replaced it but kept the phone as an unactivated backup). I ended up using Facebook Messenger for my non-iPhone friends, and so it worked out, but that's just one thing to keep in mind as you use this in your phone.Overall, I was super happy with it and it was a bargain compared to what I normally pay for overseas phone service!

Description of Pre-Loaded Data Is Not What I Received With SIM Card
I bought this card to work with my unlocked BLU phone. SIM card arrived and activation was easy from the US. I made a call to our UK hotel to confirm a few things and the call worked great. Less than 5 minutes.I then tried to call the car rental company in the UK and the call would not go through. It said I had to "top-up" and that I had no data/minutes/texts left. So, I'm not sure what happened. It clearly states you have 9gb data and minutes/texts outside the UK, but now there is nothing on my phone and I have to pay to "top-up" to use it. I would not recommend.

Absolutely Fabulous
I can not sing the praises of this SIM card enough. It is so much cheaper and easier than anything else on the market including great family plans. This is good for 30 days from your start date, then expires. This is a UK phone number so it functions pretty much like a phone you would have, if you lived in the UK, as far as text and phone calls go. The data however is good for a LONG list of countries. Setting this new SIM card up is like setting up a new phone, easy, I got off the plane and downloaded Google, Google maps, Facebook Messenger and Kindle. Then I set up and signed into email. I did the rest later at the apartment.I traveled to the UK, Hungary, Malta and France on a 4 week trip last year and it worked seamlessly. I listened to music as I walked around cities and museums and I Googled anything I felt like. I watched Youtube videos on buses. 12 GB is a lot and I only used about half with hard use. I luxuriated in all that overseas data!Things to know for the easiest use:1. Arrange for your start date before your trip. If the website doesn't confirm or accept the registration, don't fool around with it just shoot off a quick email and they will handle it on their end.2. Take one of those little gizmos to open the SIM tray with you! Don't forget! I had to use an earring.3. Have a safe place to put the at home SIM card you remove from your phone. For gods sakes don't forget to back up your phone to the cloud right before you leave.4. Allow a half hour to let it do its thing to get set up. Don't need to use it when you step off the plane.4. Make sure your phones settings are set correctly. Allow time to download your apps that you want to use from the cloud, on a slower 3G network than what Americans are used to. Thats just how it is overseas.5. For gods sakes make sure your phone is unlocked.6. Expect text messages from your home carrier trying to get you to use their plan during your trip. It's creepy and I don't know how they do it, ignore them.7. Expect text messages advising you to "top off" your account from this carrier pretty much from the get go, you don't need to unless you make calls back home or outside of the UK.8. I never tried to use this card to call or text home because then you DO have to add money to your account. Consider WhatsApp, Messenger and other apps of that sort, but understand whoever you want to contact needs the app of your choice too.9. Expect to see different carriers pop up in your settings, as you move from country to country, its fine, it's the companies they have their contracts with.10. You can't accidentally run up a bill unless you start calling people back home and yakking. You can't call home without giving them your CC# and paying call and by the minute fee's.11. Lastly for gods sakes don't forget to back up your phone right before you leave to come home or first thing before you switch back to your home SIM card.HAVE A GREAT TRIP!
