Yes, I am a pain in the 'you know what' when it come to getting kitchen tools that meet my expectations. Like you I buy things that look good only to often to find out they just don't feel right, Some spatulas are too stiff, Some have hard handles into soft heads. Others have blades that are too stiff. and then there are the ones that just don't work well and you have no idea why not. If you are like me you know what I'm talking about.... Admit it... you're a pain in the you know what too....How often do I write a review... Every 10 years or so.We've all bought things that we use but after we get them we really don't like them. However I have had these spatulas for two months and these are PERFECT. I am so excited I just bought another set for my second home.Heat doesn't bother the Silicon. I use them for everything from making scrambled eggs to cleaning bowls and pots before washing them. You can do that if they are like these, again PERFECT.They are one piece. The handle must have something under the silicon to give the handle the proper stiffness but it's not obvious there is something else there. I only point this out because it won't be falling apart. It goes from a pretty stiff handle that fits our hand well to a very pliable spatula head. It's just the right length.....The feel is just PERFECT.I really didn't care about four colors but the other day I was cooking some stuff for a party and my son can't have gluten. I had three spatulas on the counter doing different things. My wife handed me one that was used stirring something else and I said, 'nope, give me the red one' which was the one I had already used for the non gluten stuff. I thought to myself... how cool is that... their color coded. Again PERFECT.They slide across the container/pot/pan you are using them in and don't stick or jump... It might be too corky but they are like a really nice set of windshield wipers that just glide effortlessly across the window without making a sounds. The glide PERFECTLY and leave nothing on the surface when they pass.So how hard is it to make a great spatula? You wouldn't think it would be too tough but even simple things like a spatula that a bazillion companies make run the gambit of terrible to perfect. if I could I'd give these 6 stars. They're PERFECT.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the 4th time I’m ordering this for myself and as gifts . I love the bi joints on the spatulas. That is easy to clean and no chance of bacterial build up. I use this at different locations being a chef and caterer so having them handy for different pans/pots as well as different kitchen locations is a great thing.

These are pretty good Silicone Spatulas. They were a little softer than I hoped but they're pretty good. We wanted 2 but we knew where to donate the other 2 so all is well. They are bright & cheerful colors. I didn't rate them for heat resistance because I haven't and don't intend to use them that way. I'm scraping a mixing bowl after I make banana raisin bread or brownies. They are pretty good for that. They are best at the initial cleaning of the Kitchenaid mixer beaters.

Perfect for what I need. They are not flimsy and should last a good long time.
