A Must-Have for Any Kitchen! Absolutely Delicious!
I've heard the hype about Kewpie Mayonnaise for years, and after finally trying it, I can confidently say it lives up to every bit of it. This isn't your average mayo and although I do appreciate the well-known brands, Kewpie is rich, creamy, and has a uniquely savory flavor thanks to the use of egg yolks and rice vinegar. It adds a subtle umami punch that takes everything from sandwiches to sushi to the next level. I’ve used it in potato salads, as a dip base, tuna sandwiches, and my absolute favorite way is drizzled over poke bowls and it never disappoints. The squeeze bottle is super convenient too; no mess, just a smooth, controlled pour every time. If you’re looking for a mayo upgrade or want to try a staple of Japanese cuisine, give Kewpie a shot. Once you taste it, it’s hard to go back to anything else. Highly recommend!

Pretty good Mayo!
I bought this mayo for a Bang Bang Chicken Breast recipe that called for Japanese Mayonaise, it specified "Kewpie" Mayonaise. The recipe mixes the mayo with a chile sauce to make a sauce to baste on hot Skewered Chicken Breasts. The chicken breast was cut into 2" bite size pieces, mixed with some spices: 1/2 tsp ea of chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, black pepper, then mix in a little olive oil and place on water soaked wooden skewers. Cook 10 min, turn and cook another 10 min or until internal temperature reaches 160°. I cooked it at 400 in an air fryer but you could also grill it. Then you brush on sauce before serving. Not a fan of the sauce I made by itself, but I also only had a Safeway brand Sweet Chili Sauce which may have effected the overall flavor. Sauce was brushed on the hot chicken and it cooked on it like a glaze. Taste was just okay. The bottle is very soft and easy to squeeze to dispense the mayo. Not oil seperation, I think those that complained about that got bottles that had frozen. I had bought the double bottle because it was a better bargain and would recive it faster. Since I barely used any of the first bottle I decided to use the mayo on my ham sandwich today and ... it was pretty good!!! I am used to Helmans Mayo and I think this has a richer flavor. Japanese Mayo is made with egg yolks, no whole eggs like US brands. They also use a rice vinegar. It is a bit expensive so will I buy it again? ... maybe???

Good mayo, only kind we buy
Tastes great and looks creamier than normal mayo. Your paying for a better product and with that in mind the price is worth it. Very versatile in many recipes.

The only mayo I ever want to use
I would suggest you don't try this mayo. The thing is I watch a guy on the u of tube and he touts the magic of Kewpie Mayo. So I thought well, why not. The reason why not is you realize it is superior. You begin to discern the differences in mayo. You have to order something as simple as mayonnaise online because your local specialty store doesn't always carry it and they charge twenty bucks per small bottle. In all seriousness, I do order this regularly. I have been spoiled and now this mayo really is the only one I ever want to use, and when I make stuff at work with a generally fantastic name brand mayo I know the difference and wish I could talk boss man into buying five gallon jugs of this instead. I have never had any issues with the quality or freshness from this particular seller. I make sure I reorder as soon as I open my last bottle because it would be a tragedy to run out and only have miracle whip available. It's not that there is a magical ingredient there is just a strict adherence to quality management.

Rich, tasty mayo
The best mayo! Makes Hellman's seem insipid. One star off for the packaging--there's always a bit more left in the tube than I want to throw out. Be sure to get the genuine article made in Japan.

Best. Mayo. Ever.
Best. Mayo. Ever. I love this stuff! Have given it as gifts to foodie friends! For "big" uses, like in a salad, I am blending it with cottage cheese for more protein and less fat. Couldn't do that with "regular" mayo and keep any taste.
