Aqua Sphere Sphera Toddler Swim & Snorkeling mask

Our family has several Aqua Sphere swim goggles and my daughter really wanted one that covered her nose so she could do flips in the water. I was a little worried about getting this one, because it says for a toddler. But I love this brand so much and my almost 8-year-old daughter has a skinny face, so I thought I would try it. It fits her perfectly! She absolutely loves it! It came with an extra pair of straps, and the straps are long enough that I think she will be able to wear this for several years. We do not leave our swim goggles outside, so I think that helps them last longer. The only thing I did not like, is that it did not come in a case. All of our other Aqua Sphere swim goggles came with a very nice case that keeps it protected when not in use. I really wish this one had that too!

I was looking for a snorkel mask that would fit my 4-year olds' small faces. Other masks that were available at our local big-box stores were more youth sized. Bought this mask in green and pink for my son and daughter. They both have very different heads/faces. My son has a bigger, rounder head and this worked perfectly with no leaks. My daughter has a much narrower face, and it fit her just as well.The gasket is soft silicone and molded well to my kids' faces and the straps adjust easily. They used it in the surf in Hawaii for a week over the summer. These will probably fit them for a few more years.The main concerns I have with the masks:1) Lens feels a little thin (flexible vs hard plastic), but has held up so far2) The silicone and straps don't feel as heavy duty as I would like, but they held up to a lot of pulling and tugging so far without any problems. The one issue is that when you attach a snorkel, it's not as secure as with an adult mask.3) These feel fairly pricey for what you are gettingIn summary:If you're looking for something that fits small faces of a 4 year old, there aren't many options and these worked well for us. But as mentioned, the product doesn't feel as durable given the price that you're paying.

Bought for my grandson, living in the keys he learned to swim young. Age 3 was hard to find a good fitting "real " mask for diving. I thought WOW finally a great fit/No leak/NO fog! just Great mask! he loved it.. UNTIL I took it underwater and looked through it myself.. .. The lens is soft.. it fully DISTORTS VISION in and out of water. I could hardly focus, I had his father try it, same thing. ( as I thought it was just my eyes) IF you want to ruin your child's vision, this mask is for you. I only wish they would redesign to hard lens.. with no bend. because it is perfect for a young child who really snorkels.

So happy this little mask fits our youngest son for snorkeling trips!! He plays in the overly-chlorinated community pool with it as well. He is still to young to master a snorkel yet, but we are off to a good start with this awesomely small mask! Got here quick too!! Ordered the soft pink color, and instead received an obnoxious neon pink color :( I would not have purchased a $33 mask if the color was depicted as neon. The quality seems nice and the mask is soft, just wish it was the color shown in the listing.

I removed the strap to add the Cressi grip that I purchased and it was extremely hard to put that strap back. I was frustrated, and I finally let my husband give it a try. It took more than 40 minutes and a number of tools to get it through the loop. I almost went to get a fish hook so I pull it through. It's finally on and I just realized that if my child moves it up or down the strap doesnt stay in place. I have to keep resizing it. I would expect more from this brand and for the price.

I read a lot of reviews and decided to buy these, Im looking for goggles that will fit my 4yo. When I got these, I was so disappointed to find that they are so flimsy that I can fold them in half with my hands. It is a thin sheet of plastic, not glass. I had to return, they would not withstand salt water for long periods of time.

We first purchased this for our son last summer (who was 4 at the time) and learning to swim. We had tried regular goggles that didn’t cover the nose but decided to give these a try when our son was showing signs of being uncomfortable with water going into his nose. The difference was night and day. He became so much more comfortable in the water while wearing these. They keep the water out and keep our son feeling comfortable. We loved them so much that we bought another (new) pair for this summer. The old pair still work good but we just wanted to have another pair on hand. Great product!
