Works for SI joint pain
I wish I didn't have to wear this sort of apparatus, but it's the price for getting older I guess. It does work, particularly for times when I need to stand for long periods, which is something that always causes my SI joint pain to go through the roof. It even stays put fairly well when I walk, which is better than I expected.

There are 2 different belt types.
These are excellent SJ supports and the best I have found. I have tried 3 to 4 other brands. If you have purchased one of these SJ belts from vriksasana be aware that they make 2 different types only one of which I found on Amazon. The one that shows up in the amazon page is a newer model that is all one width. The second style ( an older one) has a narrowing in the back and is slightly smaller in overall width. It is more suitable foe small frames and is only offered as one regular size. After contacting customer service at vriksana i was able to order the belt I needed from Amazon. I am 5 feet and about 103 pounds. Small frames may find the smaller size more comfortable. The Vriksasana rep was very helpful.

A good lower back support, but not a SI joint strap
If you search for SI joint belts your search turns up my back support products like the Vriksasana belt. I bought this particular belt because the size was a good fit. It is well made, non slip and can be effectively tightened. But if you truly have an SI joint with inflammation, the belt is too broad and gives too much. You need a belt or strap that will not give that can be worn under clothes. An extra long leather belt or nylon strap works better for me than the back support belts of similar design. This is a good product, though there are better solutions for an inflamed SI joint.

Amazing Product!!!!
Somehow this product does exactly as it claims, through compression, my SI joint pain and pelvic instability was dramatically reduced and improved respectively. I thought the idea was too good to be true but I admit my doubt was unfounded! Best money I have ever spent as of late, the quality of the elastic material and the stitching is excellent and comfortable to wear. If there was one thing I'd suggest to improve, it would be to add a smidge of material to the end of the overlapping secondary bands, for grip-tabs, to aid in their removal when taking the belt off. As it is currently constructed, I find it difficult to release the hook/loop attachment because there is nothing to grasp to pull the ends free. All in all, I am very pleased for the pain relief and stability improvement and ever hopeful that with extended use, my overall disposition will improve further. Thanks so much for this amazing product!!!!

It Works For Me
I have two partially collapsed vertebrae from cancer and chemo has stripped away a lot of muscle. My SI joint is unstable and causes considerable pain when sitting and standing up. My physical therapist mentioned that these belts exist although she had no experience with them. The price was low enough to be worth a try and the Vriksasana belt seemed to be the best technically, so I ordered one. The belt provided immediate reduction of my pain level and has made sitting and standing up as well as walking less painful. I took it to physical therapy and we tried a few mobility tests with and without the belt. Performance was better on each test when wearing the belt. The belt is thin enough to wear under my jeans when I go out, allowing me to get into my pockets, but I prefer to wear it outside my clothing around the house for ease of readjustment. The website recommended wearing it night and day for the first two weeks, so I am trying to do that. The belt does a good job of not slipping or riding up but vertical placement is important. If I am not feeling the relief I expect, I might need to adjust the position a little lower.

Better than nothing
I have a different kind which coated me $$$ but it worked well until I gained so much weight. So I got this one hoping works like a magic, but it stretch so well that I don't feel much support on my back. If tied too strong, it will be uncomfortable. But it is better than nothing. If I got orthopedic supporter from medical doctor with insurance (?), it's usually less than $30 and this one price is not expensive. I just keep it until I find my ideal one.

So far, this belt is the thickest, best made, and strongest SI belt, I've purchased!
Recently, I have had to purchase 2 belts. The first, Everyday Medical SI Joint Belt, did not do well. To get the support, I needed, I had to get it as tight as I could. All it did was roll up, into my hip/groin area and bruised it. It's was not thick enough for any support. The height was only 3 1/2 in. I then ordered this belt, Vriksasana Si Belt for Men and Women Posture SI belt. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It's 5 1/4 in. It's almost twice the thickness. It doesn't cut into me. It doesn't roll up, on me. And it supports beautifully, without me haven't to tug it, as tight as I can get it. I highly recommend this belt, for SI problems and hip problems. I do have both problems. One from a bad fall, landed thrice on my SI and congenital dislocated hip, which took 3 surgeries to repair and later in my life, an artificial hip.

Too narrow
First the good. Seems to be of good quality. Easy to put on and remove. The brace itself is just to narrow and more like an extra wide belt. I am not built like the model in the pictures so the brace "rolls" down and becomes very narrow. So, if you have a "middle aged gut" this brace is not for you. I'll be ordering a different product. I wore it for three day so sadly I cannot return it.
