Perfect for my use
I unscrewed my recessed light fixture bulb and put this socket extender in so I could hang and light up my German paper star for the holidays. I love how it turned out. I will do this every year. I need to try to find a use for these the rest of the year, since they are a cool gadget. I feel like they would keep a bent shape well as long as you don’t use a heavy bulb. Seems sturdy enough.

Good for lightweight bulbs ONLY!!!
These are great for indoor (lightweight) bulbs. If you intend on using them for LED flood lights, do not buy. They will not hold the weight.

Brought the light down to light up washer freezer and steps.

Sturdy, well made
I used these to lower the Beyond Bright LED Lights in the garage. Needless to say, they performed well and very easy to install. The LED lights are somewhat heavy at 1.5lbs and the extender handled the weight without issue.
