KlickFixRixen & Kaul KlickFix Light Clip

I have a big beach cruiser bike that I use for most of my transportation needs. I live on my boat in southern California so biking works very well for me.I had an issue with my bike headlight casting shadows of my bike basket when riding at night and, if I have stuff in the basket, the light can be blocked. I bought this device to move the light to the front edge of the basket so the light would not shine through the basket.Unfortunately it does not fit well on my standard Wald bike basked. I am sure it fits fine on the type of basked shown in the photo on the Amazon page but that type of basket provides a much flatter surface for this device to grab onto. With the Wald type basket the top rim is a thick wire and the smaller wires that make up the basked itself are bent around the wire rim. This device ends up attaching so poorly that it can move around when riding the bike. Having the headlight spontaneously aiming in different directions is not helpful.I have managed to make it work by adding some plastic material under the clamp of this device but its not a cosmetically attractive solution and is not as strong as I would like.This device is very nicely made. They put a lot of attention into the plastic molding but it was obviously not designed for they types of baskets I have always had on my bikes. Ill probably shop around for a new basket but am not sure I can find the type shown in the pictures provided on the amazon page.It was shipped from Japan so it took a few days to get to me. The seller provided shipping info and the delivery time was OK but not what I usually expect from Amazon Prime.

Way too small for a tactical flashlight and mount. Theory much better than practicality of unit. Took some rigging to work on a wire basket. Way too expensive for flimsy plastic front mount.

Way over priced for a little piece of plastic and I could not tighten it on my basket. Worthless.

As other reviewers have said: this fixes well to your basket as long as you fit it correctly.Fixed to my handlebars, my light illuminated nothing but the inside of my basket, so I was excited to discover this product. It seems sturdy and a really great idea.Sadly, although it may be a universal fit for baskets, it isn't compatible with all light fixings. My particular light must have an unusually thick fixing, and although I was (with difficulty) able to squeeze the fixing through this holder, I couldn't alter the angle of the light. Either it points skywards, or it points at my front wheel. No other position possible. So disappointing. A fantastic idea, but not a universal fit.

I use a B'Clip basket purchased from Decathlon on the back my bike which, whilst fantastic, unfortunately lacks any space to mount lights on. The rear of the pannier was occupied by a dynamo lamp which doesn't have a stand light function, so for the longest time I was using very cheap and fragile mini LED lights from the 99p store since the velcro attachments were the only things small enough to pull through the wire mesh of the basket.This clip has worked an absolute treat though, It fitted perfectly onto the basket and took seconds to install. It feels very sturdy and I am confident it will not fall of mid-ride. I have been able to move my Cateye rear light, which has been sat redundant on the saddle stem for the last year, onto this clip and had no trouble fitting it.This is a very quick, cheap, simple and effective solution to a problem I feel shouldn't exist - basket makers should integrate a spot to attach a light to their baskets. My biggest regret with this product is that I did not find it sooner!

There are fantastic front lights available but no way of fixing them to the front of a shopping basket. Until I found this little device. It is brilliant, took 60 seconds to fit with a Phillips screwdriver and now holds the light very firmly in front of the contents in the basket so the light is not obscured, Well made, well designed.

The clip was easy to attach onto my metal basket, and initially worked very well. However, the light I own is fairly heavy, tended to waggle the clip back and forth, and after a while needed to be adjusted frequently. This didn't bother me at first, but became progressively worse as the basket itself became more and more damaged by the waggling clip - I now have a large rusty hole on one side of my basket! I have now moved the clip over onto a different part of my basket where there is a panel that holds the clip a bit more steadily. I haven't so far had the same problem.

Really useful piece of kit. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add a light to their city bike. It fits on the rim of your basket. There are two screws to fit it together and ensure it stays in place even on the bumpiest roads. Bike light can then be set on top.
