I use these to replace the original hardware that came with my sail shade. For some reason, the original hardware comes unwound and the shade ends up flapping in the wind. It happened over and over. When I replaced one side with this hardware, it never came undone. The other side still did. So, that was my comparison test. These do far better. I don't know why, but they do.

I haven’t actually installed these brackets and my shade sail yet but the bracket kit arrived quickly, all pieces as described were in the package and they appear to be well made and extremely solid. If I find otherwise during installation, I will try to amend this review or add to it at a later date.

The sail would (and did) rip those short screws out in a strong wind. The other parts were fine and I used the flat ones with 4" wood screws. I also used 4" x ~ 5/8" screw-in hooks.

This hardware set is very cheap, so cheap that the heads of the screws were stripped when I installed them into wood even though I predrilled holes

Strong, easy to install, easy to attach and remove the sail shades. RECOMMENDED

Definitely a plus when installing the sun shade. Heavy duty
