Thompson's Family Teas - Decaf(80 tea bags)

Very tasty even though there's little cafeine. The diference between the decaf tea, and regular tea is very small, I am enjoying both morning, with caffeine, and at night without caffeine. I would like some measuement of how caffeine is left in the decaf tea. A wonderful choice..

I'm so glad I tried this based on someone else's review. I have been disappointed in most decaf teas. Many taste sort of soapy to me, not quite the right word but something off. There is a Twinings or two that is at least missing that off-note, but I missed the astringent tang of real tea. Thompsons, you can brew into a very strong cup with some bite to it, and one bag will make a strong large mug (I think our mugs are around 12 oz.) I like to brew it between four and four and a half minutes, covered with a small dish. But I've also lost track of it and left the bag in "forever" and if you like "bite," it is still good!

One of the few decaf blacks that tastes like tea. Less harsh than Barry’s, and uses a safer extraction method. I like my tea strong, so I use extra bags to get it up to strength.

They are wonderful!

This is the decaf tea that I purchase. I've tried several other brands, but ALL of them required that I use two tea bags to get a cup of tea rather than some lightly colored water. Thompson's does just fine with one tea bag. The tea tastes like tea, too. This is the third time that I've ordered it, and I have no doubts that I will continue to do so in the future.

Of all the decaffeinated black teas I have tried thus far, this is the one that tastes the least washed out.

I'm a tea drinker for 40 years and I need to limit my caffeine. Sadly, most decafs just lack the robust flavor of regular black teas. This was the best surprise ever! It is rich and malty, strong and dark -- just what I want in any cuppa! I am hooked and will be buying this for life! Where have you been, Thompson's and why haven't I ever heard of you before now?!? Keep this formula please! Barry's Irish decaf used to taste this good and then about 15 years ago, they changed the formula and now it's only "meh". I'm a convert!!

If you like to drink tea with milk and sugar, this is the best dark roasted decaffeinated tea around.
