Staying in Love Bible Study Participant's Guide: Falling in Love Is Easy, Staying in Love Requires a Plan

I used this for an adult small group my wife and I host. It was a great resource, really got people talking. The book itself was great with nice introductions to go along with the questions. The videos (not included with purchase) were choppy and not 100% aligned with the book, but as the host I was probably the only one who really picked up on it. Shipping time was great and the book came in new condition as expected.

Our Sunday School class is made up of working parents with small children, so there is limited reading/prep time for any study. This participant guide, in conjunction with the DVD, was perfect for us. While no reading was required, short Bible passages were suggested each week which felt very realistic. Fabulous if couples could attend all 4 sessions, but each session was also able to stand alone, thus allowing people to feel engaged, even if they were new to the series. Best of all, the participant guide questions spurred good discussion and provided practical application for the coming week.The speaker, Andy Stanley, is personable, funny, and witty while exploring significant issues in modern marriage. We are now big fans and will be doing another one of his studies later this year. This is high praise for a class that rarely repeats authors.

Great study for a small group. Quick, engaging and applicable.

Have really enjoyed this study. I like the fact that it is not overwhelming in homework throughout the week. I like the discussion starters but mostly the devotional material and the discussions that ensue from that. The DVD content it good. Makes you really think and contemplate why you do what you do. At first, I did not think this study was going to be for me, but from the time the small group began through the end, I realized it was just what I needed at just the right time!

Andy Stanley is the best teacher out there. We used this for our small group Bible Study. The lessons taught in this study are so timely and right on. Especially in this country at this time.Andy has a plain and simple way of bringing life principles to you that nobody can argue with. He makes so much common sense. Our whole group got a lot out of it and several even brought the DVDs home to let their family and kids watch.Don't even think about it ... just get it. You wont be sorry!

My husband and i hosted a couples class at our house. We did the Staying in Love DVD and so this was a perfect Participant's Guide to go along with it. After the DVD my husband would read questions to the group out of this guide. The book as excellent questions that get the group talking and opening up to one another. I would highly recommend the DVD and Participant Guide.
