The ONLY lice comb I use!
I purchased one of these combs for $15 at a local shop that specializes in lice removal. It is the only comb they use. I have used several other types and been unhappy with all the others. The teeth on the comb are strong, it would take some force to bend or break them. Each tooth has a spiral around it which seems to help with keeping the hair from jamming in the same place. The teeth are tightly packed making the comb very effective at removing lice. The comb holds up to boiling in water unlike any other comb I have tried. Two minor issues with the comb. First if the comb is not dried quickly after boiling, rust will develop around the tiny holes. I'm not too concerned about that. Second, nits and flakes of skin can get caught in where the teeth meet the base. For that reason, I highly recommend the boiling after using.I bought six more from Amazon for around $7 each (a much better price!) so we can have one for each family member. I received combs with either red, green, or blue stripes. There are many philosophies for removing lice. Unfortunately I have had a lot of experience with it. Here are the steps that work for me:1) Treat everyone in the house with shampoo that will kill lice. (Nits are near impossible to kill. I wait them out.)2) While hair is still damp, comb everyone with one of these combs that has been sterilized. I boil combs and hairbrushes for 5 minutes to kill any larva or nits. Be very thorough, especially near the ears and nape of the neck. Hair detangler or lice combing gel may be used. Periodically wipe the brush on a paper towel to clear the comb and inspect for found lice.3) Use clean bedding immediately after this treatment or put all bedding in the dryer on high heat for at least 20 minutes. This will kill critters that were hanging out there.4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 four days later.5) Eight days after the previous lice shampoo treatment go to step one again. Eight days is long enough that any remaining nits will have hatched, but none of the hatchlings are mature enough to lay new nits. Repeat until nothing is found. If uncertain, comb every 4 days until certain.

YOU NEED A GOOD COMB
This is a good comb. When my daughter first brought these little bugs home I had no idea what to do. I read an article that kept saying you need a good comb. I still recall reading this so it must have sunk in. Not soon enough though. We spent hundreds on all kinds of poisons and shampoos and conditioners. all you need is a good comb. After using the leading treatment and watching them still crawl around irritated in my daughter's hair I found out that most lice are resistant to the treatments that worked 30 years ago. Over the years few of them lived, passed on their genes, and now those treatments do not work. When I bought it figured "Hey! it is better than nothing, and it comes with a comb!" but not a good comb. After a month of shampooing and soaking and scrubbing and having told all the other parents, we were finally lice free. Unfortunately they had not told some of their friends. even less fortunate we decided to let the girls have a sleep over. This time we tried it my way.A dry run through her hair with this comb took everything out. We washed our bedding and boiled our brushes. Done.If you do not have combs and brushes that will take a boiling you can put them in a zip-lock bag for a few days.Lice will die in 48 hours without food. the ONLY place they can eat is your head.Head lice do not lay eggs in plush toys. A Teddy Bear does not produce the heat to incubate the eggs and even if they did hatch, the larva must feed in 24 hours or die.Head lice like clean dry hair. They also like straight hair but don't think that you won't get lice just because you have curls. They do not like conditioner. A great way to use this comb is to wash your hair in the shower and then condition it. before you rinse out the conditioner bend forward and run this comb through your hair starting from your neck. Most people get lice along the bottom of their head and the conditioner not only creates a slippery surface for the lice, the comb slides right through and makes removal as easy as can be.Lice do not fly, they do not jump like fleas. Buy this comb, wash your sheets, boil your brushes and be done with them. Tell your kids to never share brushes as they are very likely to be in brushes. It is not likely they will be in bedding (they will not have meant to go there) but there is no reason to risk re-infestation just because one of the dumb ones fell out of your hair while you were sleepingJust in case you missed it, you need a good comb. Not a cheap little piece of plastic or something with tines that will bend, a good one.

Everyone should have one of these
We bought these after our household got lice, it was recommended by the person at the lice removal place. You can tell they're better quality than the ones that come with the over-the-counter lice removal products.

Must have to get rid of pesky critters!
Let me start by saying this lice comb is an absolute game-changer and a must-have for anyone dealing with these pesky critters! I was at my wit's end trying to tackle a lice infestation until I discovered this miracle tool. Unlike regular combs that just glide over the hair, this comb's fine teeth are specifically designed to catch and remove lice and their eggs with precision. What truly impressed me was how effective it is at getting rid of lice and nits. I could see the comb pulling out the tiny parasites and their eggs, giving me instant relief and peace of mind. It's easy to clean and sanitize, ensuring that it remains hygienic for future use. This is a lifesaver for anyone dealing with lice infestations!

Combs work great but not the supplier
I kept paying for a 6 pack of combs for my job and the last 4 times I was sent a 3 pk. I have went rounds with them. I will no longer purchase from this seller. To be charged almost 50$ for 3 lice combs is ridiculous!
