You can usually buy these kind of lights for a couple of pounds but I'm so glad I spent a little more on these as they are fantastic value for money. They were packaged very well to avoid any damage, the little battery compartment is really secure so there's no risk of the batteries falling out if you knock them (like what happens on the cheaper versions) the wire the lights are on is really fine and flexible so if you twist it around tinsel you won't see the wire but it's also a really pretty colour so still aesthetically pleasing if you want it on show. The lights have eight different functions from twinkling to steady that can be controlled by the button on the back of the battery compartment or with the remote controlls supplied which again adds to the value for money.

Bought these for crafts. Bought 2 packs of 2. All of them were difficult to unwind, too quite a while as they're on a very light copper wire. They work well but out of the 4, 3 were fine and the last one the coil was in 2 pieces which of course meant it didn't work. Had to contact Amazon customer services as I had used the other 3. Very light weight as so you do need to be careful. I used one set to light a Christmas garland and they look fantastic for such a small light. I dont understand why they need 3 AA Batteries as the lights are so tiny and are led.

The media could not be loaded.  These are great value for money and the remote is really handy. You can control 2 sets of lights with 1 remote (although they seem to eventually become out of sync). I did have to modify the battery pack for one set because the plastic was stopping one of the batteries from touching the metal. I’m glad I worked out the issue because I was about to give up hope. These look great in my hallway. I haven’t tried the timer setting yet but 6hours on wouldn’t be enough for the the amount of darkness hours we get in Scotland.

These lights are fine although, as others have said, you may be quite surprised at how incredibly small the coil of lights are - imagine some thin copper wire wrapped around the diameter of an egg cup and that will give you a feel for the actual size of these lights.I bought them to wrap around the staircase balustrades, although this task was a lot more difficult than I anticipated. As soon as the wire was released, the coil began unravelling unstoppably from both ends and entangling, so weaving between the spindles became increasingly difficult. But it was accomplished in the end, and the lights look quite pretty.I anticipate that this uncontrollable unravelling and entangling is going to make it quite difficult to recoil and store these lights after Christmas, so they may be just a one hit deal.The remote controls are very convenient, although for most households I would imagine that one controller is sufficient, so the other merely becomes a spare.Having said all that, what prompted me to write this review was the email from "Chrystal" at Suplong, asking, if not begging, me to write a review of their product. This arrived a day after the standard email from Amazon requesting feedback. Two emails in two days asking for feedback on the same product? I find that quite annoying, but maybe that's just me.

I loved the first pair of light sets so much I ordered another two pairs so 6 sets of lights in all. Sadly the second batch of lights I received were a slightly different colour to first pair so the effect was different but I can never have too many sets of lights. After two weeks, one of the first pair which were the best, stopped working, I was gutted! and even more gutted that the second batch I had ordered didn't have the same effect so I had two identical vases with different shade lights in them. Don't get me wrong, at least I have one beautiful vase with crystal lights in, I have had to put the other one in a different room. I suppose there will be fatalities when it comes to mass produced micro lights. Still love them though.

Really like these lights - I’ve clipped them to our wooden porch and wrapped them round a pillar - they’re really easy to install and look pretty too. Had them up a couple of weeks using the timer function and only just needed to change the batteries.They’re great value - just remember to take batteries out if you’re storing for Christmas.

The cable is quite thin but appears robust, it is easily tangled. The remote works well from a few metres at most. They are a natty string of lights. They twinkle beautifully. We like them and think they are very good value for money.

I really did like these, they are small but they are bright and have a real impact. I like the fact i can change the settings, Would be nice if they were available in a multicoloured set as well.
