Straight forward replacement
Brought as a replacement for use in Freesat recorder. Simple 15 min DIY job. If fitting to a Freesat box you do need a T10 torx bit to remove the screws. Works well no problems since fitting.

Works well in BT youview recorder box
I purchased one of these drives in 2022 because my BT youview recorder box stopped working and it wouldn't get past the startup screen and factory reset and maintenance mode wouldn't work. I replaced the drive with this one and it's been working fine ever since. Good replacement

2.5" Drives I use mainly for my laptop
The drives work very well in my laptop and I 'clone' them frequently since I use it to get and as well as keep a spread sheet of my expenditure for tax/passwords etc. in case of a failure. They used intensively which means that I have to replace them periodicaly as the drives eventually fail under stress or purhaps heat.

Freesat 500gb hard drive problem? Buy this!
If your 500gb Freesat box has any hard drive issues, buy this! Simply removed the two screws under the Freesat enclosure, popped off the top and swapped over the hard drive. It didn't even need formatting. Just showed 100% available recording space straight away.

D drive HDD
It works perfectly with my Fusion5 Lapbook T90B+ pro. It fits into the slot underneath, slide it into the connectors. Settings show the new HDD, follow the instructions. You can then defragment the D drive with the C drive. Restart to finish.
