LG Electronics UM67 34UM67 34-Inch Screen LED-lit Monitor

I'm mostly going to be comparing this wide angle monitor to having a multi-monitor setupPros:• Great viewing angles• Surprisingly good speakers (for a monitor)• No annoying bezel in the middle of the monitor• Non-glossy screen means no annoying reflections• Looks cleaner on your desk than having multiple monitors• Menu/Power button is easy to use and makes navigating the menu really smoothCons:• Bottom bezel with the LG logo scratches very easily• Transparent base makes hiding your cables impossible• FreeSync on this monitor doesn't work as well as i was hoping• The matte screen is hard to clean, even LCD panel cleaners can leave marks behind• Monitor is not long enough to have decently sized programs side by side like on multiple monitors• My monitor and power LED does not fully go into sleep mode when my computer is off. I have to power it off manually or the screen would continue turning on and offMisc:• I wish there was more advanced features in the monitor settings• I wish the front was fully matte instead of having the glossy bottom bezel• Non-existent bass through the speakers (which is fine is you're not a "bass head")• I purchased this monitor at launch when it was $150 more expensive so it's a better deal now

There are so many reviews of this monitor online that I would just search youtube to see if it is right for you., I paired it with an AMD R9 Fury card, and it looks fantastic. The Freesync capability was the main reason I went for the LG UM67 34UM67 over it's competitors, and it does not disappoint. I run Far Cry Primal, Tom Clancy's The Division, and Star Citizen on the highest possible setting. This monitor takes them all in stride. The colors are vibrant and crisp. There is no tearing, lag, or bleed whatsoever and the ultra wide screen gives me the cinematic experiences that would normally take 2-3 monitors to achieve. I could not be happier with this purchase. As usual, Amazon's pricing, shipping and packaging were spot on as well. One reviewer stated that the monitor was unstable on it's stand and could not be wall mounted. While I cannot speak to this reviewers experience directly, I can say that my monitor is very secure on it's included stand and can be wall mounted.

Love this monitor. Read some reviews about pixelated text, but I have no issues with the text using this monitor for work. My eyes are less tired when I get home and lots of real estate to use larger fonts. The only bit of remorse I have is that I did not pay more to get the curved screen. Now I know why they have the curved screen for the ultra wides. When you stare at the middle of the screen for a while the outer edges almost seem as they are bending away from you. Quite a trippy illusion.

I used this to replace 2 x 27" monitors and am pleased wit the result. Even though the total area is smaller than what I had, not having the divider running through the middle was much better solution for work. Obviously gaming is really good on such a large screen if the game supports the resolution [play with the ini files].Only problem with this monitor is the input select does not auto search, so changing from work to game PC involves a lot of button pushing which at this price point should not be the case.On the old monitors I just pushed input select and they would find the next active signal but not this guy.

The product its self is pretty nice. I was able to get it to work fairly well on my computer. What I am not happy with was the fact that I didn't realize it needed to have a dual-link cable in order to hook up to my computer and I ended up having to make another order. I think there should have been some mention of that in the description. It does come with an HDMI cable but that doesn't do me any good if all my cards are DVI. Other than that, it works pretty well. I had to lower the resolution size down in order to see the screen and the pixels are a little stretched. If I get the DVI dual link working, I will update the review.

Best monitor ever! The IPS panel is beautiful and the viewing angles are as advertised. The sheer size of this monitor is enormous. I was a bit skeptical because in pictures the monitor looks smaller than it actually is, but in person the monitor is huge, it literally takes up almost my whole desk which is exactly what I wanted. The aspect ratio of 21 by 9 is going to spoil me as I get more and more used to it, once you go ultra wide you don't go back. I would buy 2 more of these and wall mount them if i had the space. I only have 2 negligible complaints. The stand is sleek and all, but it only offers tilt and 1 inch of height adjustment. That would be a bigger problem, but is compensated by the VESA mount they decided to include which allows you to be able to mount it to the wall. I believe wall mounted monitors look better than any monitor stand anyways. The other complaint that I have is the fact that even though you spend 522 dollars to buy one of these monitors they only decided give you an hdmi cable instead of a display cable which is practically necessary for this monitor to work at it's full potential. Those are my only 2 cons which are fixable and not a big deal to me because it is fairly inexpensive to fix. One con that I saw others point out is the resolution is too low, which to me didn't bother me at all. I have never used a 1440 or 4k monitor on my desk before so I haven't been spoiled by the increased vertical resolution those options provide. Coming from a 1920X1080p monitor I do not get bothered by the resolution one bit. Plus if your a gamer the resolution of this screen combined with free sync provides a smooth game play experience that is awesomely complemented by the ultra wide aspect ratio. Cons aside this is hands down the best monitor I have ever used.

LG had the stupid idea of putting the most awkward, hard to use power switch on the bottom of their monitor. It broke after 5 months and cant be fixed. Literally an unfixable .10 cent part broke and now my $600 monitor is useless. What a waste of money.

The best monitor I've ever had! The 34-inch split screen is particularly useful for translation work, making it possible to arrange the original, translation and multiple full-size references without having to take my eyes off the screen. Image is excellent. Eye strain is minimal after many hours of work at the desk. I've purchased quite a few LG devices and the quality has always been superior. This monitor is no exception.

Es un excelente monitor, salvo que tuve que devolver el mío por qué aparecía una línea vertical color azúl en el lado derecho. Una verdadera lástima.
