Tanoshii: Joy of Making Japanese-style Cakes & Desserts Paperback – October 1, 2012

I was happy to find more than a few recipes of some of my favorite Japanese treats found in Japanese bakeries when i lived in So Cal.The directions were easy to follow, plenty of pictures & illustrations.I really missed the not-overly sweet concoctions that are HARD to find in New England as compared to the myriad Asian bakeries in So Cal.Doo-mo arigato to the author/chef!

This books has every image step by step on how to do it. Love all kinds of french, japanese and delicious cakes, roll cakes, apple pie. Worth it!!!

I lived in Japan for many years, I am so happy to finally be able to create some of the Japanese Dessert that I love.

Love everything about this book, except it came with a small tear at the cover page. Step by step instructions with photos to show how to do the various pastry and dessert items!

It si more french cuisine than japanese.

Simple desserts but not very creative recipes. The desserts were were cute but too simple.Too few recipes in this cookbook.

The recipes look great but it arrived damaged.
