We get through a lot of coffee in our house, so I wanted something affordable but still delicious these are a great find. They smell fresh, make a lovely crema, and the flavour is smooth and chocolatey without any harsh bitterness. I also love that they come in two 500g bags so the second stays fresh. Not fancy artisan coffee, but for everyday drinking the quality and value are spot on. I’ll definitely be buying again.

My partner adores coffee and is always on the look out for a decent everyday coffee that is affordable and he can just enjoy. I think we’ve found it with this one. The smell as you opened the bag was gorgeous. The bean colour is promisingly dark, they're nicely roasted, and you can tell that they're fresh. We tried it with a manual grinding machine, and with an electric one, and both gave great results. My partner and I are at different ends of the coffee scale; he likes a strong coffee, and I prefer mine to be milder, but somehow this suited us both. The flavour is rich and strong, but it’s also smooth with no bitterness. We will still drink other coffees, but this one is going to be the one we stock up on, especially as it has a decent shelf life, too. Happy to recommend.

Looking for a very good espresso/latte coffee at a really good price? Try this one. Cutting open the bag the aroma was very promising.......coffee as coffee should smell. I set my Iberital grinder to the finest setting and these beans ground perfectly. I like my espresso strong and long so 20grms in and 60ml out. The very first extraction was IMO perfection...just how I like my espresso. The pull was IMO perfect...no channeling, no spitting just a lovely swirl to a central crema flow. Taste was, again IMO, how espresso should be...strong, not acidic or sour with a lasting flavour of coffee(what else?) chocolate and that certain something that defies description but you know comes from a good espresso. I have bought from Rave, Pact, Spiller & Tait and others....all are lovely espresso/latte coffees but at a much higher price point and it is that which helps this coffee (CREMA COFFEE BEANS) top my list of beans to keep in store. Will I buy again? Most certainly. These will be my every day go to beans. Will I buy others? Sure ...we all need variety but others will be purchased only a few times a year now I have found these. IMO...At this price and with this resultant espresso these beans can not be beaten.

This is 7.5/10 solid choice beans especially good with frothy drinks not so much straight espresso where it's all coffee, leather, wood, solid strong flavour not much fruit or general aromatics which is nice sometimes in a blend or if that's your hardcore enough to want coffee to just taste like coffee here you go! Better than expected for the value.

Decent value beans but certainly bitter for a light roast. If you have your machine on max grind you’ll need to turn it down to get anything like a light roast espresso - otherwise it was very bitter for me. The flavour itself is good though once you’ve adjusted the grind and aroma and you’ll get a good crema if using a decent machine.

Good quality coffee, but a touch too bitter for my liking. I usually buy Amazons arabica coffee beans, and they have smoother taste. I also noticed, that beans looked a bit oily. Ground well. I use coffee filter. But, it is certainly a good value for money.

Crema is off the charts. Very nice and rich ‘basic coffee’ flavour. Have been using the Union Coffee brand which has been nice but steadily becoming too pricey in a family of 5 adults who hammer my De Longhi machine without mercy every day! These beans are a slight downgrade but a perfectly acceptable one.

Questo caffè in grani è una vera sorpresa: tostatura chiara ma con un corpo ricco e una crema vellutata che sembra uscita da un bar professionale. La confezione da 1kg (due pacchi da 500g) è comodissima: ne tengo uno in cucina e l’altro in dispensa, così mantiene intatta la freschezza. Cosa adoro: Aroma equilibrato: Note fruttate e leggera acidità, senza il retrogusto amaro di molti caffè dark roast. Perfetto per chi ama un espresso elegante e non troppo intenso. Crema da 10 e lode: Con la mia macchinetta manuale, ottengo una crema spessa e persistente che dura fino all’ultimo sorso. Etico e sostenibile: Il certificato Rainforest Alliance mi fa sentire sereno sul rispetto dell’ambiente e dei coltivatori. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Costa meno di tante marche blasonate, ma la qualità è superiore. Due confezioni da 500g sono ideali per chi, come me, consuma tanto caffè! Buon caffè la tostatura chiara lo rende meno aggressivo e più confortevole per lo stomaco, inoltre si possono apprezzare meglio i sentori. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.
